    It's September and they are creeping along at about 5 million. They will get 8 at best. Next year will undoubtedly be better, but I still think only 15 million. There is still too much concern about covid, inflation and interest rates for a big 2023

    PM has amassed obscene billions , you think he would notice pocket change going missing ? I'd be more interested in seeing the 5 million gone missing bank details of payment in the officials account and withdrawal of it - otherwise it sounds like 'bung' money

    but, but, the idiots in charge are saying tourism is booming. The fact a carrier is cutting near 25% off their already low projections speaks volumes that PM and the TAT have absolutely no clue what they are talking about tourism wise. Expect Thai Airways further restructure if one airline is predicting 25% less tourists than predicted, Thai air has probably based their restructure on full tourism

    Three main things for me. 1. Pound Baht exchange rate. 2. Price of air tickets and I go back to the UK every 9 months for a couple days for hospital appointments and check on my property.. 3. I still use UK NHS for tablets, so biggest worry they crack down on issuing 9 months of tablets - but my own health issues are covered by UK law tablet wise so unlikely.

    Maybe its just me but Thailand seems to have been stuck between 4 and 5 million for the last 4 months. And I really do not think that the high season will be success - there's just too much trouble out there with covid lockdown rollover, recessions and inflation

    I'm, glad I'm retired and away from this kind of relentless bull meetings and training programs, that's highlights were usually the tea and biscuit breaks and lunch time sandwiches ! I guess we all remember the good days before this rubbish took over our workplace
