Where do you take from that millions want Prayuth punished? I often voted in my country a other party than in power but never wanted the current party punished. And normally in a democracy we don't punish politicians who didn't brake the law (unfortunately we don't even punish these who do brake the law).

If Prayuth broke the law, everyone can go to court about it.

Well, that little detail of the constitution that was in effect at the time of the coup actually provided the death penalty for coup plotters. In his self-made constitution, Prayut anchored a general amnesty for himself and the putschists in a snap action. The world of "laws", what is right and wrong is not so simple as black and white.

  2. Hot air. So far, all so-called anti-corruption authorities ACT, NACC, AMLO, DSI, internal audit authorities, courts, etc. have failed for decades.

The only way to break of this mafia-like, interwoven cancer of corruption within the authorities would be a independent, national tax police force. These would have to be completely re-established outside of the existing police authority structures in small, autonomous cells.

The funding of this tax police should then be 10% success fee from all assets recovered - previously stolen from the people -.

  3. All seven members of the current EC are the same members from the previous election, appointed by the National Legislative Assembly, which was the legislative arm of the previous junta.

If you cannot win an election regularly, then you declare the election invalid. It's easy when you've completely occupied institutions, that should normally be completely independent, with your friends.

  4. Chuwit is/was much more useful as a whistle blower with his background knowledge of corrupt politicians and officials. To name exactly who and where criminal figures here are enriching themselves, in criminal ways with illigal activities, stealing taxpayers money and state budgets at the expense of society.

The fact that he is now wearing himself out with the controversial topic that is generally discussed by many: - cannabis - is less helpful socio-politically. In itself, it is not criminal whether you are for or against legalizing cannabis.

His usefulness as a fighter against corruption is/was many times greater than that of an anti cannabis crusader.

  5. ...Earlier Mr Phipat said 60-70% of the fees will be earmarked for a tourism fund, while 17% will be used for medical insurance for tourists....

Nice example of unclear budget management. 17% for tourist medical assistance; ok. 60%-70% for the TAT fund?. For what  exactly the money will be spent on, is unclear and vague. For luxury travels, 1st class flights, conferences and gourmet banquets in 5 star hotels especially for senior TAT employees? And not a word about the remaining 13%-23%. Maybe  pocket money?

If Thailand has its 20 million visitors a year, that would be 6000 million Thai Baht. This extra budget isn't chicken <deleted>. In the free economy, company managers with such unclear budget allocation informations would be fired immediately.

  6. - She has only been working in the bar for a few weeks (3)

    - She is 35-45 yo and is fed up with bar life and is looking for someone for her exit strategy (2)

    - She has a low level of education but speaks very good English (4)

    - She is very good looking, a real Stunner and is in high demand (6)

    - She is between 20-30 yo, drinks and loves the party life (6)

The higher the score, the lower the likelihood of a lasting relationship outside of her bar life.
