Your description of a feminist could also describe a lesbian...dont judge books by their cover.
Women these days realise they dont need men to survive in this world, Thailands no different but perhaps Thai women are more from the old school, a quality most women in the west arent any longer, and surely Thais are also following.
Heres a point; most grandparents in the west got married and stayed married till death do they part.
Nowdays, 50% of marriages fail....why?
Because the old school followed the idea of the man earned money, the lady looked after the house. She relied on him, which is similar to the ways of alot of Thais nowdays. I like that, its a good thing. Old fashioned but good. It works.
Im sure alot of feminists find it hard to have male relationships, stay married etc. Thats their problem, good luck to em.

Not really, every president, prime minister male or female of any country is like a puppet that have their advisors and told what to say. Running a country is far to bigger job for just 1 person to make all the decisions.Women as "Political Sock Puppets" - I guess that is a new role...

Ok, my wife insists that when our baby is born here in Australia, we have 15 days to register the bubs on her Tabien baan or it becomes much harder and more expensive by a few thousand baht to get the job done
Does anyone know 100% if this is correct?
Also what documents do we send there from Australia?
Thanks!

Do ring the bell in every bar you can....its rude not to in Thai eyesDont leave your common sense in the departure lounge.
Dont go anywhere with anyone, you didnt specifically ask to be taken to. (tuk tuks)
Dont carry more money than you intend to use.
Dont leave any drinks unattended in a bar. (there might be more than you bargained for in the glass or bottle when you get back)
Dont get involved in confrontations, dont lose your temper, dont get physical, walk away.
Dont apply western logic to arguments, it doesnt work, dont argue walk away !
You forgot about the Do's Charlie?

buy a mongoose. no snakes.Thinking about putting up a chain link fence,it will keep every thing out except the snakes.
To me, this with the bougainvillea makes a great fence .. maybe a course or two of the thin concrete block to deter snakes.
Actually, I wonder if there is any reasonable fence that will keep snakes out. Some snakes live in holes. Ever seen one of those skinny green snakes climb a concrete wall? I had a devil of a time keeping a very determined one out of our attic.
Also, most concrete fences have openings to let water out after heavy rains. If you don't have those, you stand a good chance of erosion or a swamp.
Then there is the gate.
I don't ever recall seeing a gate that a cat cannot squirm under, wriggle through or climb over.
Then there are the rats ....

But since you did you had to answer.Another useless topic with a ridiculous title.
If I had known what the Op was going to say I would not have opened.

Monetary?..you certain?...100% certain?two men in a cubicle is stupid, only a fool would do it, as for the penalties, unless they decide to make an example of you or you are caught dealing, they are primarily monetary.

Or you always wanted to star on the hit show "Banged up Abroad"They think they are untouchable HS, they think they are Gorillaz.
It's one of the tricks that drugs play on you, they separate you from reality.
There are plenty of guys at Bkk Hilton that can sing sad songs when they found it they weren't untouchable after all.
You need to be a clown to drugs in Thailand........Land of the Regular Set Up.

Demand out weighs supply....simple.Many are not really qualified, oh but we all know you don't have to be to be a great teacher right. Many do it just as a way to stay and enjoy themselves here and do not really care much about what they are actually doing, and in some cases that is more harm than good. They will tell you how much the School and kids love them but then move onto another one within a few months, or even weeks. If they were doing a good job how come the Thai kids are so poor in English, sure the education system is to blame, but then 'teachers' with crappy qualifications and the wrong motives hardly help matters. There are some good ones, but far more bad 'uns.

movies are open to interpritation . Its what came to mind when I watched the preview. Perhaps the full flick is different.
Let me elaborate, look at the preview posted on here, skip to 57seconds until 1.20....clint and rambo.Rambo meets Clint Eastwood????
It is more a homage to the spaghetti westerns of Serge Leon, so I guess there is an Eastwood connection, and a parody of the Thai romantic melodramas of the 1950s.
The preview I posted, do you mean?
I don't need to look at the preview, I have seen the whole film (Tears of the Black Tiger); several times.
BTW, apols for the earlier typo; it should, of course, be Sergio Leone!
