  1. exactly - and yes: doctors are the ones who solve these kind of issues (personal experience)
  2. Thanks DrJack for the clear answer. Maybe I should have cut my question down to that line. Forgive me. And yes CMBob it is no big deal to go online for a few minutes or a few more. It was just for my convenience.
  3. Please accept my humble apology: We are in Germany, going to Thailand again in a week on the 45 day visa exempt. We will rather not have a reason to visit immigration this time. (But who knows? - and I will apply for a non o based on marriage the next time , not this time - but who knows) Still we do the TM30 everytime online after we arrive from Germany, because we do not want any trouble or even fines for my wife. (We even did it the first time at the police station in the nearby district, within 24 hours, because then there wasn't the online option and we did not want to go to the far away immigration office.) As for the Jetlag and because it needs to be done within 24 hours I have the idea, we could do that in advance - if possible - so we can just relax when we arrive. We have always been very correct on all the official ways for good reasons. Maybe it is worth to mention I got a yellow tambien Ban and a pink ID.
  4. Hello everybody, with a planned trip to our home (Wife is the housemaster) we do the TM30 online. Is it possible to do the TM30 in advance? Like one or two days before arrival (or maybe even a week before). Would be comfortable. Sincerely
  5. There are men going to a foreign country buying sex/bodies/physical service with money. Some want true appreciation. Some even think they may and can own a person. Some do the same at their home country (or just country of origin cause home wasn t pleasing, but anyway) some won t as they are afraid. All this is common despite it is rather not socially recognized. Then there are participants who make a science out of it. What does that teach us? Do they never learn?
  6. This is serious and could go fatally wrong any time. Despite it might be ok for a long time, or even never fail, that is a "lucky" draw. Heater with safety cut is mandatory. We f.e. got a great Panasonic for (i think i remember) 2800 Baht (there are cheaper ones that will do). You need proper installation. Check the ground wiring. Fix it today. As from the start: These things (and worse) have been very common for decades without trouble but the only statistical figures, of which you can become a part tomorrow.
  7. dear lord protect and shelter us for once from all evil and vehicles from france (very comfortable, but a service nightmare outside france)
  8. Thanks for all the replies and information. That definitly takes us a step further. And yes of course will all be sent in my dear wifes name. Sincerely
  9. Dear Members, looking forward to finally moving to Thailand (from Germany) kind of mid term (actually asap) there are more or less things my thai wife and me would like to bring along. Of course there is the matter of cost relation and personal preferences about what and how much of our stuff we may take with us. There always was this idea of thais having an allowance of personal household goods to import that is (as far as i have undertstood) false. Yet it must be possible to import used personal stuff. Most of it old enough to be of no real value, but some with at least some value that could be taxed even it is obviously for only personal use. And there are shipping cost and all this to handle. Therefore we also consider the use of a professional service, mostly because there will be enough to do for ourselves anyway AND we believe their professional routine may benefit the process to be smooth. In total the stuff may come up to a small container (with 2 or 3 pieces of furniture and even dishes my wife would like to take) but could be reduced to about 100 - 200 kg. That includes books, an old (2008) computer, screens and electronical instruments (really not worth much). Will you please give us your experiences and recommendations or even services you used to your satisfaction. Please accept my apology for language flaws for i am not a native english speaker. If there is a special forum for matters alike, please move the topic, cause i couldn't find it. regards
  10. Wouldn t worry. Sometimes i was surprised what primer and color actually cover when they dried. Yet i would recommend two coats of color, if nessecary, rather then two coats of primer, because of course the real pigment is in the color AND i was told by a worker, it is not good to use two much primer. Still, if wax crayons are on, it is better to get off as much of it as possible with some paint thinner or alcohol. The color will cover the rest. Just try it out.
