An off-topic troll post and subsequent replies have been removed as they were in violation of our Community Standards. From the OP... "This is a discussion about EVs available or coming to Thailand. Not private imports but cars supported here with a dealer network."

One dead, 30 injured in Singapore Airlines emergency landing
Jai Dee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Andrew Davies, from Lewisham, south London, wrote on social media that he was on the flight and that passengers received “very little warning” to put on their seat belts. “The seatbelt sign came on, I put on my seat belt straightaway then the plane just dropped,” he said. “My heart goes out to the gentleman who lost his life and his poor wife. Awful experience. “Lots of people injured – including the air stewards who were stoic and did everything they could.” Mr Davies said passengers with medical training jumped in to help the man who suffered the cardiac arrest on board, performing CPR. Following the death in detention of activist Netiporn "Bung" Sanesangkhom while she was on a hunger strike to call for judicial system reform and the release of political dissidents, five human rights organizations issued a joint statement calling for the Thai authorities to conduct an independent and credible investigation into her death, release political prisoners held in pre-trial detention, and support the proposed amnesty bill for those facing political prosecution. Scandal rocks PM Srettha: Ethics violation accusation
Jai Dee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
According to news reports, Prime Minister's Office Minister Pichit Chuenban handed in his resignation letter today (Tuesday) after 40 senators asked the Constitutional Court to review the ministerial status of both Pichit and Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, following the prime minister's recent appointment of Pichit during the latest cabinet reshuffle. The court is expected to decide on Thursday whether to accept the senators' petition. Jade Donavanik, a lecturer at the College of Asian Scholars, told Thai Enquirer today that the court might dismiss the petition against Pichit on Thursday because the petition asked the court to rule on Pichit's ministerial status, which is no longer relevant after his resignation. However, even though Pichit has resigned, the court might still decide to look into the case against Srettha, he said. This is because the appointment was already made, and the senators' petition questions the appointment on ethical grounds, given that Srettha appointed Pichit despite being aware of his past conviction, he added. Press release from Suvarnabhumi Airport regarding the emergency landing by a Singapore Airlines flight: -
Also released digitally recently is Boy Kills World I am downloading it now... "Skarsgård stars as "Boy" who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf, and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents. Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting wrath of carnage and blood-letting. As he tries to get his bearings in this delirious realm, Boy soon falls in with a desperate resistance group, all the while bickering with the apparent ghost of his rebellious little sister."

The package comes with a 220AC-12VDC power adapter so you simply plug it into a GPO. From memory it comes with about 1m of cable This page will give you more information on that particular camera in English. Please bear in mind that without a wifi connection your control of the camera and access to some of its features will be limited, as they are only accessible via the EZViz app. For example, turning the internal spotlights on and off... but as yours would be used in a shop environment where the lighting would be constant this feature would not needed anyway. A very good point and the camera I suggested to the OP can be linked with up to 7 more to an NVR such as this one with up to 6 TB of storage for data. This of course is a wifi solution (which the OP is currently not looking for)... there are others that used hard-wired ethernet cable to link cameras with NVR's. Something that the OP might want to consider too is the possibility of using a battery-powered camera kit... you can see the full range of EZViz security cameras here, however I would be looking at their local distributor in Thailand here on Lazada for availability and pricing. There are of course cheaper solutions too... Lazada is full of them. However if you want a quality product with a genuine manufacturer's warranty and local support, then you have to be prepared to pay a little bit more. Disclaimer: I am not in any way affiliated with EZViz and its products... just a happy customer.

From their FB page: "Being a customer centric Beer Garden that’s about to open on the 10th April, we have adopted a ‘same price system’ of all the popular brands of drinks from any of the 10 bars in the Beer Garden. Every day we also have happy hour promotions from opening until 19:00pm that will be individual to each of the 10 bars, but never a different price to each other on the same product on promotion. Each of the 10 bars at Las Vegas Beer Garden will also have other drinks & offering to make them individual. This ranges from a cup of English breakfast tea, to draft Guinness and a huge array of prepared on-site fancy cocktails to drink the nights away, Las Vegas style."

If you don't want to go the internet streaming route you can try an inexpensive terrestrial digital TV service first. It just needs a small aerial pointed at the nearest tower. Check her neighbours rooftop aerials for clues as to where it is. https://www.lazada.co.th/thaisat-td-9e-ninety9watch-i227199041-s347388182.html

As it is for your wife's personal security I would be looking to purchase something that had the highest possible resolution so that facial recognition is not compromised... 3MP(2K) minimum but preferably 5MP(3K). Your storage capacity will be reduced by larger file sizes, but you will have sharper videos. Why not get one of your locals there on KC to demonstrate the difference between 3MP and 5MP on their cameras and you can see for yourself?

Very true, and the camera I suggested also fits into this category. However the OP specifically stated that so if he goes down this route, it means that if he ever does wish to view any recordings, he will have to remove the SD card from the camera and install it in a SD card reader for a PC or something similar so he can view the media files.

The amount of data consumed by one hour of video depends on various factors such as the video resolution, the video encoding format, and the video compression settings used. As a rough guideline, you can use the following estimates for different H.264 video resolutions: Standard Definition (SD) video (480p): Approximately 1 GB per hour High Definition (HD) video (720p or 1080p): Approximately 2-3 GB per hour Full High Definition (Full HD) video (1080p): Approximately 3-4 GB per hour Quad High Definition (QHD) video (1440p): Approximately 5-6 GB per hour Ultra High Definition (UHD) or 4K video: Approximately 7-10 GB per hour Recording in H265 codec format will result in even lower data storage requirements. By using a 3MP camera such as the one I suggested above (Resolution 2304 x 1296, 30fps) recording in compressed H.265 format you should be able to continuously record over 3.5 days (assuming that the shop is closed and locked for 12 hours/day and open for 12 hours/day) by using a 256GB memory card. If the camera is using motion detection to activate recording then this will result in even lower data storage requirements.

You could check out the EZVIZ range on Lazada... see here. Just because a camera like the C3TN is wifi capable does not mean that you have to use it. That particular model also accepts SIM cards of up to 256GB so plenty of storage space. It also has human motion detection which is handy.

It may pay to visit PowerBuy and see what they have to offer. Here is their online surveillance camera page to give you an idea.
