  1. It worked for me - admittedly that was 10+ years ago.
  2. As an alternative to the 'onward flight' consider a Booking.com booking (subsequently cancelled) for a hotel in Siem Reap and say that you are meeting friends in Surin and will depart Thailand at the land border at Chong Chom/Osmach.
  3. Probably. There has never been any health requirement for the application for a UK Visa. Covid entry rules applied in the UK at one point - but they have all been removed.
  4. Nonsense. There is no such requirement.
  5. Do you have a WHO reference for that. I generally follow rules, that is the society in which I was brought up in. I don't necessarily agree with all those rules.
  6. No they don't. The 5k is their handling fee, the UK Visa fee is around 6k.
  7. I got through the "dribbling pissing the pants stage" in my mid 50's on nights out in Pattaya! ????
  8. Yes it was. I was not recommending them, I was simply answering the question about which agent offers the passport service for 5,000 Baht.
  9. That sounds like Key Visa - Google their services.
  10. ALWAYS by other Thais, in my experience. It still says 'Male' in their passports - you can't change that.

  12. I don't know, but I would doubt it as Skyscanner are a travel fare aggregator website and travel metasearch engine. https://dpogroup.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-skyscanner/
  13. I find that hard to swallow.............
  14. I recommend that you don't rely on that belief should you ever find yourself on the wrong side of the law.
  15. I would argue that the European Summer holiday break is a minor factor - this is low season for a reason; less people travel to Thailand. What the proposal does impact on is the planning for 'winter' holidays i.e. Thailand high season. I know several people who are now likely to book something.
  16. UK Visas are taking about 4 weeks. The most recent one I saw was submitted to UKVI on 17 May and the 'passport dispatched' email was sent on 8 June (22 days, virtually back to the stndard 15 working day processing).
  17. To be fair, I half expected that.......???? Don't be fooled into thinking that Europe is without it's own retards............
  18. Having just spent 2 months in Europe it was weird to return to still see the habitual mask wearing.
