AirAsia require all non Thai's to have a valid passport when travelling on domestic routes within Thailand.

I got on a flight at Udon Thani using my pink ID card, however was pulled up at Phuket upon my return flight, the young lady behind the counter as pretty as she were, also had a brain, and showed me the policy on her computer, suffice to say I gave her my passport, she didn't require anything else of me, which was a waste IMO :sorry:

    That is incorrect.

I never show my passport on domestic flights. My Thai driving licence is perfectly adequate for ID purposes.

It's not an issue. Just a fact.

$2,50 for a small cap of coffee is what it is...

WOW!    ....and that broke the bank - and left you all bitter about PP?

I have had dozens of meals in PP, all good quality and a very fair price. In 10 visits there not once did I say "Jeez that was expensive"....maybe one restaurant, but that was in the top 10 and, whilst expensive, was fair value from what we had.

    A non O cost is 2000 baht.

Would require 800k in a Thai bank account in his name only on day of application.

Needs to show funds came from overseas.

Require some basic photocopies of PP.

Also a TM30 or rental agreement.

Requires minimum 15 days remaining on current permission of stay.

    21 days at eg CM.

Which immigration office will he use.

    Thank you.

    Most likely Buriram.

  4. A friend asked what he had to do to move from his visa exempt entry to a 12 month extension of stay, based on retirement

I appreciate that he will need to first get a Non-Imm 'O' visa for 90 days and then apply for the 12 month extension once his funds have seasoned.

What does he need to support the initial visa application and what would the cost be if done at a local Immigration office.

Each to his own, though I have nothing against ladies of the night, and would probably use them if I was single as I am not going to be able to attract a 30 year old now. That is leaving money out of the equation.

and there lies the difference; in my late 6-'s I can buy the services of a 30 year old whenever I want.

If a guy is decent looking and not overweight, he should never have to pay for sex in Thailand, I came to Thailand about 3 times only for girls, dated market girls, office girls etc.

I first arrived in Bangkok through a dating agency and never went near Pattaya, on my second visit I  just repeated my first visit.

On my third visit I went straight to Pattaya, booked into the Beach Hotel. I knew nothing about the goings on across the road, as I stepped outside to explore, I was approached by a prostitute, was pleasant to her then went on my way.

I never knew what a barfine was until another farang told me.  I just could not understand why anyone would pay just to get a girl when there were so many of them everywhere, but it soon dawned on me the reason for that when I noticed so many facial haired, tattooed, ugly fat bellied farang around.

Even though I am a hansum man I prefer paying for sex.

It is a service, not a commitment, and both parties know what is expected from the contract.
