  1. Nothing to with fatties, read the report. It is a data collection exercise (optional).
  2. Pharmacies in soi Buakhao are a rip off.....the street sellers are fine. Try the Kamagra orange dissolvable tabs, 7 in a pot, for 180-250 Baht depending on negotiating skills
  3. I did my TM30 online (https://tm30.io/) back in March and no issues when I did my extension in May.
  4. Not TM30......... this is 90 day reporting. There is no 'cause'.......there is only one 'winner' where Immigration is concerned. Good luck with your email...............................I have been waiting 3 months for a reply to mine asking about the official time before you can apply for an annual extension.
  5. Ask at Jomtein 10 times if you wish.....you could get up to 10 different answers. Just do it. Jomtein will never see the slip - until you go to do your extension application. I have been doing my 90 days online for 2 years.
  6. I am pretty sure that it will be busy again this year.....maybe not such an impact from the Russians, but I think the post Covid bar has been set - most people will suck up the airfares, they weren't cheap this year.
  7. Whilst I agree with your sentiments, what he did was fundamentally wrong. Consequently, he should have resigned when it all kicked off. These days, like it or not, you just can't allow yourself to get carried away with your emotions - especially if you are in a position of authority. I find that a little sad in all honesty.
  8. Why do you think there would not be? Did you experience Jomtein in Januray/February this year?
  9. Of course it is acceptable!
  10. OnemoreFarang is certainly not stressed............his posts remain calm and lucid - and typically p!ss taking.
  11. Not being a bank, WISE is not part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. FSCS can pay compensation to customers of authorised financial services firms when they fail. Set up by parliament and funded by the financial services industry, FSCS is a completely independent and free service. This means FSCS can pay back any money you hold with a failed bank or building society, up to its compensation limit of £85,000 per person. https://www.fscs.org.uk/industry-resources/deposit-protection-banks/#:~:text=FSCS protects you up to,you hold with the bank. However:- Is Wise FSCS protected? One important thing to note is that Wise is not a bank, and as such is not part of the FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme). Instead, as part of the conditions of maintaining a financial service licence in the UK and internationally, Wise must follow a different set of rules to keep customer money safe, known as safeguarding. We’ll explore how that works and how it’s different to FSCS in a moment. How does Wise keep my money safe? Wise is not covered by FSCS protection, but instead, as an Electronic Money Institution in the UK, Wise protects customer funds through safeguarding. This means that Wise holds all customer deposits in either²: Cash deposits with top tier financial institutions - like Barclays and Citibank Secure liquid deposits - like government bonds in the UK, US or EU. https://wise.com/gb/blog/is-wise-safe-uk#:~:text=Wise is not covered by,institutions - like Barclays and Citibank
  12. ...add the Viagra, watch and sunglasses vendors.....
  13. Of course you can have an account with them - that doesn't make them a bank. Read their small print and you might just start to understand the difference.
  14. I can handle capitalism, no problem, I was part of it for years. What I can't abide is arrogant gouging my low life 'hustlers'. They would sell their Granny for Sixpence and would not hesitate to rip off visitors to this country. The Phuket mafia are probably the worst.
  15. Seriously, you need to get a life.
  16. You know nothing - and continually provide evidence to support that view. I detest tuk-tuk drivers and begrudge the cheating b4stards anything,
  17. That is probably the weakest argument and most stupid comment I have seen today.
  18. Same here. Haven't paid a camera generated speeding ticket in 3 years.
  19. Incorrect. We aren't a bank, which means we don't lend out our customers’ money to people or businesses. This also means our e-money and payment services aren't subject to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). In the UK, Wise Payments Limited is an authorised Electronic Money (e-money) Institution under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 with permission to issue electronic money and provide payment services. TINV Ltd is regulated under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 for the provision of investment services. We follow a strict set of rules set by our regulators in each country in which we operate, such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) in Europe and 48 state regulators in the USA. These regulators protect the markets in which we operate. https://wise.com/help/articles/4IusAofIppsIGPcs7sEIXI/how-our-uk-entity-wise-payments-ltd-safeguards-customer-funds For USA:- We are not a bank, which means we do not lend out our customers’ money to people or businesses. It also means our money transfer service and Wise account balances where you haven't opted into interest are not subject to FDIC insurance. If you’ve opted-in to earn interest on your Wise account, you're able to take advantage of FDIC passthrough insurance on your USD balance up to 250,000 USD. https://wise.com/help/articles/5toCJQjm9MkTs8bEKSm30O/how-our-us-entity-wise-us-inc-protects-customer-funds?origin=related-article-4IusAofIppsIGPcs7sEIXI
  20. Same here. I have 3 accounts across 2 provinces and all appear on online banking and the app.
  21. You can repeat it as often as you like, but you are still wrong about this thread.
  22. Keep digging to try and justify the bo11ox you write.......but you are wrong - this thread is about underage staff Do try and keep up.
