Thai will for foreigner
Don't know about fair, but it is consistent with what I have seen elsewhere.

Thai will for foreigner
All mandates cease on death. Knowingly presenting it after death would probably infringe the law. You have cheques on your Thai bank account?

Thaksin postpones his return to Thailand
I could live with that. I don't share your view on Thaksin's innocent.

Thaksin postpones his return to Thailand
Yes. MrMoJoRisin is crying in a corner of a darkened room somewhere, not in Thailand. He was betting his house on toxic Tony making a return this month.

Jomtien changing the rules again?
I confirm that agents cannot/will not use the income method (at least not the 3 that I contacted). Evidence money in the bank - 8,000 Baht. No money 12,500 Baht.

Financial Requirement Renewal Retirement Stamp
I changed this year. I already confirmed with Jomtien that I needed to adhere to the criteria for the June 2022 approval ie money in the bank - 800k for 3 months after and 400k the remainder of the time. I also had to evidence 12 X 65k pm leading up to June 2023 (evidenced by a special form of certification from K Bank).

To proceed, MFP must show more political maturity
Dreamers rarely achieve anything. Nothing wrong with aspirations but fairy tales are for fictional story books. Feet on the ground and a practical approach to developing/evolving the country will likely reap better rewards in the long-term.

Being Single VS Marrying a Thai Lady
Please don’t confuse ‘off limits’ with ‘not an area of interest’.

Being Single VS Marrying a Thai Lady
To the best of my knowledge I have never met an educated Thai woman. I mean well educated, not someone who has acquired a degree and is working as a teacher or in an office. They are not obvious in the areas that I ‘hangout’ and I have certainly not been interested in seeking them out. I have met some smart, switched on women - but largely uneducated. I am content with women who are kind, calm and caring - and have an open mind towards things that are non-Thai. If I wanted intellect I would probably look towards my own culture.

Pattaya was popularised by the Yanks, but now it's like little Britain. I agree. A definite improvement.

Visa issues
What date did she arrive in the UK and was that with the return ticket from Dublin to Bangkok? What date did she enter Ireland? I really cannot see any issues if she entered on her UK visa and is staying legitimately in Ireland. However, if you have any concerns at all you should direct your question to the airline. Any problem is likely to arise at check in rather than exiting immigration.

Possible return to the UK, without any money.
Don’t hold your breath! The Labour Party showed no sign in the past of wanting to remove the freeze. No government has the desire, or incentive, to change the status quo.

Thai will for foreigner
Seriously? You think in Thailand an English worded version of a Will would prevail. Good luck getting Probate with that Nang Rong or Kanthalarak. The English version is solely for the Farangs information and to allow translation into a Thai Will.
