Airbus A320? Seems to have problems with staying in the air

The time is there to realize the mayor's Sky Train
-
Just wait until Songkran starts, 100s of accidents like this in a few days.
Not in Pattaya.......the traffic will be on a complete stand still for approx. 10 days
-
Mysterious death.........working with a cable......a loud thud......and a sudden death.........what's mysterious about that?
Sad enough....again!!
-
Scaled down.....a similar move as some years ago when PMF was held at Pattaya Sports Stadium at Chaiyapruk II?
Anyway, I was expecting to need at least 45 minutes from Jomtien Complex to Central.........just 10 minutes. Not even the usual traffic chaos on hand
-
RIJoe.........by the sounds of it, your school is trying to make up for the loss of students using the remaining students to cough up more cash and put everything, including the higher fees and more hours per year on the back of Immigration.
-
right johng, seems to be common practice.
Some people do have rather extensive families

I've been to PMF last year. Couldn't figure out the kick of being on the longest/biggest pop-up market of Thailand with some live background music.....a real bummer.
Regarding the traffic? Uhm yes..........

"Farang"......another possibility is the use of "alien" as used in the Thai law.
"Alien tries to drown himself in the sea............", nobody would make any rescue attempt.

So where on earth did he get the item to make the noose and why are there facilities in the cell to attach a noose? An extraordinary lack of duty of care, aren't people in custody monitored continuously?
About three years ago my youngest son killed himself in a police-cell in Chaweng, Samui.. He was monitored because he displayed very restless behaviour, but the officer on duty left the area for god knows what reason and although he was monitored, nobody was there to watch the monitor. When the officer left my son used a towel to make a nose.. They tried to resuscitate him for an hour, alas, he didn't make it. He was only 28 years young.. Leaving behind a son of three....Why he did it? Nobody really knows, he was detained for possession of a small doses marijuana, really no big deal...
Sorry to hear of your loss. Is there anywhere or anything people can do over here when they are feeling desperate?
There are different possibilities, counselars, psychiatrists, mediators......just Google, but that's easier said than done.
People in a desperate state usually do have other things on their mind, but most important is the people close to a desperate person. They usually notice abnormal behavior and they should act..........unfortunately the Thai people close to a desperate person prefer to mind their own business, especially if the desperate person is a farang.
The "funny" thing about the newspaper article is, that at first they are talking about high foreigner-suicide numbers and then they give us just examples of Russian attempts.
The Russians........I know quite a few and they can roughly be divided in 2 groups........as arrogant as hell OR forced humble because of the very low self-esteem they're suffering from.
Anyway....whatever eason lies behind this case.....we'll never know....it's sad

NOT the new passport and the possible transfer of ........... what?
There is nothing to transfer, because your visa has expried and you don't seem to have an extention (or maybe the last extention has expired)
So, travel to any country (I suppose) and upon leaving Thailand take both passports, because your departure card is related to your old passport.
The MAY put some stamp in your new passport regarding the overstay, but that doesn't HAVE to mean anything.
-
You expect that it never left Thailand, but it may as well be stuck at UK customs.
-
It's all about bloody commission.
The staff gets commission over closed insurances......just offer the friendly staff 100 baht and they're happy to open an account

Well........so all disabled and fat-people head for City Hall to ask for a beach-bed permit; sounds foolish, but that's where it will end up
-
Maybe it's the Birra-karma that hits the drivers/riders.........
-
My embassy doesn't submit this letter.
Instead, they print a statement in the new passport in 3 languages that the new passport replaces the old passport with a certain number.
This is accepted by Immigration although it needs some explanation/convincing.

Hold your breath..... Due to the expected dry period Mr. Prayuth may crack down on spilling water
-
Pattaya and jumpers..........well.........Pattaya is well known for its spectacular view and since the one and only viewpoint is blocked by a new high-rise people have to find another "view-point"
Once up on the roof the view is so desillusional that there is just one thing left to do...........
-
As Craigh said: EXPORT-shops in the major shopping-malls; you could look for "XL" as well.
Apart from them, there is plenty on sale at Central Pattaya Beach....at a price, but since you have bought clothes at Jim Tompson, money is no issue......I guess.

The TOT ADSL here on Thepprasit Soi 8 has been really poor for about two weeks. Yesterday it came back a bit and today it's not been too bad at all. I'm getting very tempted to change to True as my neighbours in the village here say it's excellent.
Here's what I was getting a few days back:
Honestly, that's dial-up modem speed, not ADSL!
It couldn't even complete the damn speed test!
So it's Guderian.......downloading multiple series in one time.............

That's the general problem with Thai people on the phone.
They tend to phone while in a busy office, room, factory, disco or in the middle of traffic.
Just count how many times they say: "Arai na or arai wa?"
Repeat, repeat, repeat and that's not only with foreigners........same happens among Thais.

http://extranet.immigration.go.th/pibics/online/tm47/TM47Action.do
90-day reports online........not the easiest thing, but it saves you a go to immigration or a trip to Cambodia (?)

Maybe there is some left-over from the last flooding-problems?

huhhhh? and the major-bid for the 4G network will be held in September............!!
I guess that the 4G network will only work with smart-phones containing 2 2G simcards.........
The rainy season has officially started!

Thank you dear God for sending this torrential downpour.
For weeks tthaivisa was terrorised by boredom and utter stupidly.
Finally something else to moan about........the weather.
