This is big news and a paper needs to investigate this! 555

The locals call it 'Aids Alley' in Buriram
You can't possibly be referring to "Mucky Street"
Yes and your little mate told me all about it!
-
Someone has managed it, I saw one on Ekamai a month or two ago, being maintained by a mechanic there.
It was a black Classic 500.
Maybe my Ozzy mate in BKK. I had a ride on it and it sure got everyone looking at it. Although its a modern set-up now, it still sounds like a good 'ol thumper. He has business between India and LOS and organised importation himself (with a little help from friends).
The only thing that didn't impress me was the rear side framework so a lady can sit 'side-saddle'

I've been harvesting rice for 6 years now and never had a problem. In NE Thailand.
Why go public with that?
Item No1, your honor, is this post on TV by .............

Have you also considered that you may be rideculed as Thai village folk think us farangs have little tree's growing in our back gardens at home that continuoisly sprout GOLD. They will think "Why TF is a crazy farang working in the hot sun, he must be nuts! I will see if he will buy me Rice Whisky every day if I smile and laugh with him?"
Mate, Face it, we are different and they know it. I am very sorry if I offend you, it is not the intention.

I still have a yellow book that was obtained when I was married and living in the house that i paid for. Now living in a different town in rented accomodation and i was wondering if the same book can be altered to my current address or is no longer acceptable now I have moved and i would have to start the whole rigmarole again to get a new book.
Thanks

My mate got an 'O' 2 months ago from Hull. Over 50, he sent 2 months bank statements from UK bank showing reqd income and all was well.

there has been talk about sniffer dogs at Heathrow that can detect money on TV.com (have seen dogs at Manchester too but who knows whether they are money-trained). Never been sniffed/stopped.
I was stopped in April at LHR (outbound) when the dog sniffed my 'wages.' I told the guy the truth and that I was not money laundering and on my way, I went.

They don't last long in this heat/sunshine. 6 months if your lucky

I have fond memories of my first car, an Escort Mk1 1.3SPORT. You car looks great but please, please change that front bumper!
-
The sales person said " Nissan hab good name in Thailan, many people hab Nissan, no ploblem".
He would do wouldn't he?
Most car sales people in LOS know nothing about the products they sell IMHO.

I try to run that site and I have not had the time to update it but hopefully I can do it soon to add a link to Cuckoo's facebook page and Frank's website.
This would be a job well done and how about adding a forum like a few of the other nearby cities?

I would love to see the plane Big enough to carry enough fuel from LHR but nimble enough to STOP within the boundries of the one short runway! 555

Seems to me that people in the west are obsessive about insurance, nobody else in the world bothers that much.
Until you kill a local !

Yesterday I did my first ever 90 day address report at a different Immigration office with a 'new' OA retirement visa. Everything was boringly ok just like all the previous years on a marriage extention, but the Immigration Officer made an interesting and confusing comment to my girlfriend.
He could see from P/P stamps that I had been married previously and that I am now in rented accomodation locally. He said to her that as long as I am 52 or over (NOT 50) and in rented accomodation and married, He can arrange for me NOT to do 90 day reports.
Does anyone know about this or was it just yet another Immigration fairy story?
Thanks Guys.
p.s. I have NOT taken this as a reason to get married! 555

There is no immigration requirement on 'spending' in Thailand.
what part of 'but VERY low to live on' do you not understand?
-
on less than 20k a month is not living its just existing .... you will exist only until a real emergency arises .....
I have been doing just that for over 14 years; living that is, not just existing. Please explain what a "real emergency" is?
Pretty obvious really, its one that involves a large unexpected cash outlay. Medical or motor accident problems are commonplace for instance, especially when alcohol is involved.
i would suggest 20k is not only well below the Immigration requirements but VERY low to live on. 35k is 'do-able' I would suggest

Why not try surin lots of expat farang places if you want some advice or a chat loads of clubs discos nightclubs all within walking distance of town (try tantawan deeng nightclub for meeting girls you can't fail in there) lots of Khmer culture dance and stuff only 50 odd km from Cambodian border worth a few days
Friendly locals who all want a Husband/House/ Honda Jazz/ 150cc scooter/iphone5 all within the first 5 minutes. Also have no idea of the price of P2P in other part of LOS.
