  1. Brain washed racist dead beats. How long can they keep brain washing the masses of the made up evils of the foreigner.
It has to be the 3" thing. There is no other explination. Perhaps its intimidation by iq?
Knowledge is terrifying to Thais. They cant think for themselves. They can tell you all day long they do though. Its immensely entertaining.

How is this racist? Is Thai a race or a nationality?

  2. Well, let's add it up.  Here's a few off the top of my head.
    1) He wants to end the diversity visa program (lottery visa).
    2) He wants to switch to a point based system which limits options for impoverished or those without education.
    3) He wants to stop legal immigration from certain countries.
    4) He wants to end migrant visa programs.
    5) https://psmag.com/social-justice/how-trump-is-trying-to-reduce-legal-immigration
    6) He wants to make it impossible for many who are in the US legally to obtain a green card.
    7) He is reducing the amount of asylum seekers able to be approved.

I mean, the list goes on but sorry buddy, you're wrong.

Agreed. He wishes legal immigration from people who will contribute to society.

  3. US based manufacturing is already a victim.  The USA simply doesn't have enough resources to "make everything at home" nor the population.  In particular, when you push for less immigration when you require a larger population to produce what you consume, you're kinda' defeating yourself... especially as birth rates decline.

I believe the Trump administration is attempting to reduce illegal immigration, not less immigration.

  4. Does it matter?

Surely the point is that the waitress was assaulted, nothing can excuse that, charges of assault should be automatically started.

To many there is a huge difference between a man hitting a woman or a woman hitting a woman. And we do not have any back story on provocation, reasons, etc. Just typical TVF judgement and condemnation without consideration of all the facts.

  5. I guess he had a private health insurance. Was his condition so critical that he required a helicopter?
In most cases these patients are stabilised enough to get another mode of transport.
Anyway, my point is that air transport is much more useful for critical accident victims or other things such as stroke or heart attacks to rush them into a hospital.

You are correct. Critical condition determined the need for helicopter transfer. And, yes, it was a certain well known international company, cost covered by insurance. This was all organized and operated by Thai nationals, proving that the Thais are very capable of providing this type of service.

  6. I just wonder what the bill would be like for farang to be air lifted.dont suppose they will be fitted with a meter.cant see this one working.thais can't even run a ambulance service.its another attempt at getting into the 21 century.itll probably end up a a air taxi for high up health officials.anyway they haven't even trained aero- medics so that buggers the idea up.just another load of euro pen pushers getting out of their offices and having a good old jolly paid for by tax.

Contrary to your belief and derision of Thailand, there is are effective air ambulance services available

  7. "Health-care operations in Thailand are predominantly pre-, post- and inter-hospital transport operations. Apart from the Thai Sky Doctors initiative, helicopters are infrequently used to land as close as possible to an incident to drop off medical teams or to evacuate patients."

That is their priority. Ridiculous. Transport of wealthy patients instead of emergency and accident victims...

A good friend has required the use of an inter-hospital helicopter transfer. I do not see where wealth or lack of played any part in this. Why do you say it is transport of wealthy patients?

  8. I have spent many years in Singapore in the commercial sector.Obviously it's not perfect and there are troubling issues with the ruling party's brand of democracy. But on any rational definition Singapore is not a corrupt country and is internationally recognised as such. It's silly not to accept Singapore's great success here even if one questions other aspects of government policy and social regulation.

Singapore has corruption at all levels, from hawker stalls through retail , industry, and government. Your experience is obviously quite different than mine. But.....that discussion could be for a different thread.
