  1. Lots of trump supporters posting silly emotives. However...

Though that is a lot of money, the investigation may have actually paid for itself by uncovering tax evasion and fraud.

Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, was sentenced for obstruction of justice and conspiracy in September. Manafort, as part of his plea deal, agreed to forfeit assets valued around $42 million, including about $22 million in real estate property, according to CNBC, though a Justice Department official told NBC News that the money would not go directly to funding the investigation.

In addition no way are trump and his associates are in the clear. Summary concluding there is no exoneration for obstruction of justice. Plus of course multiple criminal investigations underway for corruption and other matters.

Claim to have collected assets worth 42 million. No mention of net value after all loans are paid off.

  2. Although this on it's own is not really such an important issue, the fact that big brother Prayut deems it necessary to issue this sort of condescending measures says volumes about the stupidity of the dictator.

Do you believe this alcohol ban during elections is something only since Prayut has been in power?

  3. A simple and inexpensive precaution when working near or around high powered electrical lines:
    • The rubber blanket helps reduce accidental exposure to energized power lines, conductors and hardware. The flexibility to wrap, fold and maneuver the rubber blanket also allows such equipment as underground transformers and switchgear to be easily covered thus allowing adequate protection for the worker.

But it requires someone to place value on a human life.

Don’t the majority of accident investigations result in cause and prevention measures? After the accident?

  4. Agree. We drive around Thailand for two weeks covering Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia borders. Used a mobile WiFi hotspot (AIS) for connectivity throughout the drive. Excellent service except for some very remote areas north of Chiang Mai.

  5. Motor bike theft is bad all theft is bad but so is extortion .Holding your passport as blackmail until you pay some totally excessive made up amount of money for a minor repair is also bad.I refer to the hundreds of reports of people being forced to pay stupid sums  of money and when they involved the police, guess whose side the police were on.

And of the hundreds of “reports” you mention, how many are you sure that damage was not caused while the vehicle was in the possession of the customer?

  6. It's not so much the ban on the sale of alcohol, I can live with that, but I have a number of people who want to come to my bar to watch the finale of the 6 Nations and although that shouldn't be a problem, as long as I don't serve alcohol, the BiB will still shaft me if I open, because they'll accuse me of serving alcohol, even if I don't and their word will count for a great deal more than mine.  Corruption at its best  The funniest thing is that none of us have a vote anyway.  TiT.

Many venues remain open even though they do not sell alcohol. Your fear of the authorities does not appear well founded

  7. Since you missed it. Visit to the same doctor in private hospital by foreigner is 1000 baht , for Thai 500 baht.

and no hospitals do not give you price unless it’s a surgery and even then it usually goes over an estimate unless insurance is paying .

When end you ask price to see doctor you get told a price , but never any mention of nursing fee or equipment use and that’s easily 300 on top

    So.....no proof then?
