  1. At least a guy with a sense of humor....Great.

Why do most forums, not only in TH, less the medical ones/usually, end up off-topic, in personal arguments, showing-off, offense and provocations? These forums, i.e. TV are such a great place to help people with personal advise, experience or voice an opinion. But it seems more and more of the posts are off subject and more a show of Pattaya-personalities, which can be amusing, but is not really the sense behind it. Have a great Sunday evening.  MS>

  2. Sounds typical Pattaya incl. great management. Hope the owner is on TV. Incredibly difficult finding and guiding good  local restaurant staff. A nightmare, what I am told by friends. On top of cheap guests and a price war between businesses. MS>

  3. Any place in greater Pattaya can still find this fruit-wine, please? What would be an available alternative?

That just on the side...What is the story behind the wine -shortage in boxes???  Thank you all. I don't drink it, so

am aware many of won't neither. Just need help to locate for a friend. Regards.  MS>

  4. Thank you kindly for both answers. The PM has been forwarded and looks promising for a long-term / part-time care in Pattaya.

For the more serious case of the lady that needs 24 hours support for the next few weeks, we found the following...... I happen to know the founder from a hospital-stay in BKK: Smart, reliable and very motivated and medically well informed and connected in Thailand. This service offers very well qualified nurses. Not sure they also offer assistant-nurses etc.

Here the address, it might help somebody in the long-run. They also deal with insurances, many do include  certain period of home-care

    after surgery or hospital discharge.

  5. Hi all:

None of my previous contacts are (still) available. I am looking for a nurse for hire service. At least semi-professional to qualified professional nurse to take care of a reconvalescent

lady before repatriation. Also looking for a nurse-assistant / previous mentioned- one might stay on to take care of a resident gentleman who needs a bit support and help with

    medications etc.

Yes, we are aware a qualified nurse costs real money. Not a problem. Very pleasant lady, who needs support to get back some strength before being able to fly home.

Thank you for any contact info I can pass on to the relatives of the 2 people.  Good night & regards.  MS>

  6. You will find offers from cheap to very expensive. Just make sure to specify materials clearly or you will be disappointed with the results or the product might not last. Don't use cheap plywood or Thai style built furniture,  buy LEDs yourself. I would use Smartboard/Vivaboard.  Go to ThaiWhatsadoo Home Mart and check materials first. Then hope that a reasonable contractor will contact you or be recommended. The ones I use,  are very busy and often not interested in smaller projects and charge well for quality work. Pm me, if you can't find anybody. Good luck. Sorry, mirrors are cheap and I use Suvit just below Big C Klang. Good reliable family, good E. MS.

Quite sure seen the Rolls in misc. versions at Big C Klang and sometimes Foodland Bakery. The Dusit has a lovely little bakery and coffee shop on the right side entrance hall. Enjoy. MS>
