Nice to hear your you are fine and had a good experience. I am in/out of BKK Group hospitals with some serious procedures. Mostly perfect treatment & service outstanding. Comparing apples with apples prices are way below international levels with few exceptions, mostly situation-, rarely Dr. based. Cardio Dept. is outstanding.

Your dessert looks delicious. Unless you have plenty of money to set up a proper business in prime location and good basics in running a business abroad already, my advise is to stay away. Check out the rental prices & side-costs in malls etc. and do a basic business plan, after informing yourself about the real cost of doing business in Thailand correctly. The cost of your waffles & syrups is just a small part of it. Pattaya is full of foreigners who have dreams of businesses for their g.f. who often can't count to 10. Best of luck in whatever venture you are trying.  MS>

Seen it several times in my 20 years. Twice outside the windows of my condo. According to security, snakes caused it and the fire took hold of the bundle of internet etc. wires below. They found parts of the fried rather large snake below. Both times I was able to extinguish with large foam extinguisher from a window, leaving the Soi snow-covered. Both times my fiber optic line survived it...   But have seen bad ones on Bouakao and Walking Str. A miracle it does not happen more often. MS>

I am not sure about Epson. But good print shop with XL size &  friendly service just North of Excite and Soi Excite on same side maybe 200m, all in green on 2nd Rd. MS>

I would be interested in facts from local expats about schooling of their kids. Do you send them to public schools, private schools? What do you see for the future

of your kids? Staying here and living here? Moving back home when they get older? Prepare the kids here to be able to go back home and be successful in adult life.

All comes down to lack of respect & brains. No education, no proper policing...They drive like maniacs here  in Pattaya and on highways, mainly. Had a cabdriver the other week tailgating less than 5 meters at 140/km. Totally nuts. My warning lasted 2 minutes..Then same sh....Closed my eyes an prayed.

All this contributes to the the changing new quality tourism...Indians & Chinese who happily walk in the middle of the road, unaware of any danger....55555

Who travels abroad w/o proper insurance coverage is just very naive and who expects some country or private hospital to pick up the bill is dumb and probably coming from a country where there is full and autom. Gov. coverage. Even if I travel back home to "my 1st. world country and go to get some even minor surgery done, I am asked for insurance coverage or deposit. Just normal. But seems the world is more and more full of a false sense of entitlement and elimination of self-responsibility and brain-activity :-) I have numerous times in the last 20 years helped out with deposits for people, who were in trouble and still feel hospitals and care are quite good in  most cases and fees quite affordable, with some exceptions, depending on procedure. Easy enough to google and compare apples with apples.  MS>

Yeah, had it done 3 months in situation had to travel abroad for surgery. No questions asked. Polite and fast as always, after explaining my 

situation. Thai / Jomtien immigration is such a pleasure compared to some other countries I have been to. MS>
