  1. Op also needs to change start date of covid insurance policy.
  2. Why stress yourself over nothing? When your wife exits UK with UK passport, nothing is stamped in her passport. No problem entering Thailand with her expired Thai passport. When she leaves Thailand, use her new Thailand passport to leave and then enter UK with her UK passport. Relax.
  3. I don't think it would be wise to do all this after a long flight from the USA. OP, do yourself a favour and treat yourself and your family the comfort of a booked family van to go to Krabi, door-to-door.
  4. The OP is referring to covid insurance for Thailand Pass.
  5. Here are a few more branches of the Sainamyen clinic. http://www.sainamyeninternationalclinic.com/
  6. If you are fully vaccinated, there is no testing on arrival at all. If you test positive with a self test Antigen test later and do not require hospitalisation, you quietly isolated yourself at home. Nothing to worry.
  7. Currently if you are fully vaccinated, no test (PCR nor Antigen) required to enter Thailand.
  8. You only need US$10,000 of COVID insurance. However, good luck if you can find one insurance company in Thailand that currently offer this amount of cover. Buy one that has the cheapest premium and you are comfortable with (Terms & Conditions) that meets the Thailand Pass requirement.
  9. Still not required by Phuket Immigration. They have interpreted the policy correctly.
  10. If you are already on extension of stay, the "Visa Number" required on the TM8 form is the number stated on your latest extension of stay stamp. Not your original Non-Imm O visa number.
  11. Wait nearer to autumn and the requirement will be clearer and more current.
  12. Most people buy this policy just to meet the requirement of the TP and there after "throw" it away. I am not a insurance agent but I believe the 14-day waiting period means 14 days after arrival.
  13. Cheap, yes. If you only want it just to get your TP. Be aware that there is a 14-day waiting period before the insurance cover kicks in. Otherwise you have to provide a "negative" PCR test result within 72hrs to activate it (point #5 of their underwriting conditions).
  14. It doesn't matter, it's the same IO doing the job. I applied for a re-entry permit 2 weeks ago. It took 2 hours and there was not even that many people in the room. I was there at 2pm. The IO at Counter 7 even made me filled in all the data about when I am leaving and when I will be coming back. I didn't have to do that the past 10 years. Especially immediately after you obtained your new extension of stay to save a trip to the Imm office and don't even know exactly when you will be travelling.
  15. If I am not wrong, you also have to do new TM30 with new Non-O visa.
  16. The transfer is free of charge. You may be paying your agent the 1000 Baht for his service.
  17. Was at JungCeylon (BigC) over the weekend and saw "boardings" announcing JungCeylon will be opening in Q4. It seems that they are preparing for a lot of renovations inside. Timing it for the next high tourist season.
  18. Just follow the expiry date stated in your current passport. You don't believe your passport?
  19. Have to wait for the 300 Baht Tourist entry fee to Thailand to kick in first.
  20. It doesn't matter. Both forms required the same information. Phuket Immigration is still using the "old" TM8 Form.
  21. My bad, it was meant to be "date". As for the rest, I wonder if you ever filled in the TM.8 Re-entry Permit Form? https://www.thai-consulate.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/tm8.pdf It doesn't matter where you apply for your re-entry permit. If the IO in front of you decides that you should fill in the blanks, you have no other choice. Even to the extent of giving pseudo dates. No use telling the IO you were not asked to fill in those data the past 10 years. You may even have to thank your lucky stars that the IO didn't ask to see your return tickets to confirm what you have written down.
  22. You are contradicting yourself. You did your research and you still expecting someone here can give you the answer you want?
  23. Yesterday I applied for a re-entry permit. For the first time in 10 years, the IO asked me to fill in the expected departure day, the expected return date, the extension of stay permit number and the issued date! Amazing Thailand.
