So, let me get this straight: The U.S. throws a fit, and spends all of it's time going after other countries that harbour U.S. citizens like Snowden, for telling people the truth about the crimes the government is guilty of committing against it's own people. Then they turn around and take in this piece of crap.

Then they have the nerve to go around telling governments how they are supposed to act and conduct themselves..........

I hope Thailand calls them out on their outstanding image!

What the PM is saying is fair. So what happens when all the outsiders leave Thailand?

Is this statement meant to imply:

1) Thailand wants outsiders to come and spend their money, or set up companies, help grow the economy, relax and enjoy Thailand. But if you are screwed over, or killed, too bad for you?

Or is it meant to imply:

2) If Thailand wants something from you we'll ask for it or try to take it, but if we don't, go away....

Or a bit of both?

I wouldn't accept their theory either. As soon as I read the headline I assumed it to be foul play. Quite honestly, after reading the headlines over the past year I would have a hard time believing anything they had to say....

What upsets me is that the Thai current government are making the country look farcical. They are implementing knee jerk reactions without thinking things through. The ill thought move will only have a negative impact on the country when right now it needs a massive boost. I do wonder if they will ever learn.

I can guarantee more than 1 shooting per day in the U.S. Almost anyone can get a gun in this country. There are tons of cases you'll never hear about (low income areas, projects, gangs, etc). And if a mass shooting by definition (more than one), or the FBI's 3- 4, or more people (doesn't mean they have to die during the event); I would certainly believe this as well. Turn on anyone of a number of city news broadcasts per night, and start adding them up.......
