One of the big problems Thailand has is that too many of those in positions of responsibility have a very bad lack of "Circumspect", they have not opened their mind and do not want to respect opinions of non Thai's.

There are plenty of retired airline and safety inspectors who could come in here a straighten this out in under 6 months and on at a reasonable cost with out flying to other countries on taxpayers junkets.

Spent the next few days in county jail.

One day that home owner may be a victim of a hit and run, lying in the gutter needing urgent medical assistance. God help them if the only guy around the neighborhood is the guy around the corner they got banged up. Where i come from he would have been ass kicked off the premises but if it was clear he had been drinking and i knew him and i also knew he was not purposely robbing the place i don't think i would have seen him in jail for a few days. Dear General.PM, going to take more flushing than I initially thought. Keep going until the water is clear !! Thank you, I am not Thai, but my wife is and I want a better place for her and her son after I am in the "Big Hangar" in the sky.

I am amazed at how many English Majors reside/retire in Thailand and have time to fill this rag with learned data.

People Power is a nice way of saying, "Let the Inmates run the Ayslum". Thailand is a nice place to live as a retired individual. But, for a young person growing up here exposed to Laissez Faire, Ca Sera Sera attitude they see limited futures for themselves and worship the wrong idols/stars. So we want to turn the election over to them ?

The problem is once you leave the what, five major cities, the education level of the average Thai drops to around five to six years if that. Many can not read properly and are influenced too easily by media and mob opinions. Again, so you want to turn the election over to them ?

If you are not educated you will not have circumspect and the ability to resist going with the flow. Thailand needs to begin a Grass Roots Training System and Civics Education in schools and colleges

The General/PM can not make all these changes in 10 months or even if he tried.

There has been so much corruption in Thailand it has become a natural cancer and extents to the highest levels, as we have seen. Top officials caught stealing, dealing drugs and other land grabs and deals.
