  1. Thanks.

It's a few years away yet, but good to begin researching the best options.

Thai will be half Thai half Western, born in and being raised in Thailand.

I think I'd prefer a type of half half situation. Half taught at home using Western curriculums, and half at school for things like P.E., Art, Thai history etc. and also to be social and not feel like the odd one out.

I don't want them lining up every day being condition about how great they are as a Thai and sitting in a classroom of 50 with the fear of being hit by some 'teacher' who's educated to the average highschool graduate in the West.

    Nice.

Will you be getting the matching riding gear?

    biggrin.png

    Only joking.

btw I pulled up behind a 150fi at a redlight yesterday then watched their take off. My word the 1st gear on them is short! I thought 1st on the 250 was short, but watching that actually shocked me. Their second wasn't much better. Without trying I was well past them by the time they got into third.

  3. just checked dealership on huay kaew road and a honda cbr 250r was 110,000 without ABS and 125,000 with, didn't include anything extra. + Insurance was 136,000! How much would a normal price be for a new 250r w/w/o ABS? How much would a 2nd hand one drop in value?

i bought one for 103,000 cash (without ABS) ,including registration, tax + number plate (but no insurance, wanted to organise that myself )

    2 free hats + 2 free jackets

after a few days of bullshit my gf found an insurance policy for 3400 thb that will pay 80% of new price in the first year if stolen so 80,000k back

if its stolen in year 2 they pay 80% of the 2nd hand value so 64,000 thb back (i think )

fully covered for 3rd party liabilities + medical expenses BUT IF YOU DROP YOUR BIKE ,THEY DONT PAY ANYTHING ! smile.gif

I'm currently looking at different policies for the CBr250R. Anyone know about this one? Wana seems to have been banned. :(

  4. guys guys, they will start to sell the bike in next Motor show end of November in Impact arena definitely. yahoooo!!!

Actually, they will start to book teh bikes.

And the biggest tip here until now: whoever goes there on the first day and minutes of the opening of the show, can get their bikes first!!! So, we need to line up at the gates at 11:59 as it will start on Friday at 12:00 afternoon. Please do not push each other there guys.biggrin.png

This info is coming from a reliable source man really.

So, now we only hope for a more than 50 hp and less that 190 kg biketongue.png

That's all great info. But could you do us (or me at least) one favour? Could you please stop saying 'man' in every second sentence. I'm female and find it derogatory (and annoying, as I'm sure other posters aged over 15 do).

    Thanks. :)

  5. Jett Tuning in the States seem to be doing good work with their products. Nice bump on power but also keeping it up there in the high end.

  6. I just came across this on Facebook. Not sure what magazine it is from or if it is even real. It certainly looks nicer the the first spy pics that came out though.

Nice picture of the Honda CBR600RR as it writes under the picture, the two smaller pictures are an artist impression of what a Honda CBR500RR could look like

    Again, utter nonsense.

They are two designs that were submitted for the CBR250R in 2010.

    img_3.jpg

Honda's designers around the world submitted images like these, envisioning the future CBR250R

You don't really know what you're talking about eh, but are some what desparate to bluff it. ermm.gif

  7. Here a picture which we obtained from a photographer who does work for Honda Thailand now-and-then... The original picture shows that it's marked as a Honda CB300R.

The picture is likely a fake, while the machine is actually real - it's doubtful that it'll be introduced in Thailand or that it's manufactured in Thailand

No, the picture is not a fake. It is from the Honda site for Brazil which has manufactured and sold the CB300R for a number of years. rolleyes.gif

As for 'obtaining the photo'... yeah right... go to google and type in CB300R Brazil and there you go. rolleyes.gif

Or just go to the Official Site on Honda Brazil and see that exact screenshot. laugh.png

  8. The next day I had a conversation with the headmaster about this issue and that I wanted to report it to the board of education, and they said that they knew it was wrong but that I should accept it since this was Thai style and the teacher was reaching retirement age so, yai yen yen.

At that point I made them an offer they couldn't refuse, and which could be heard all over the school grounds, and for the rest of the semester the cane would never been used on my son again.

    Go on....

  9. I like how pulling along side or cruising past a Thai on their CBR150 makes them go nuts and take off on a suicide mission to 'beat' the 250.

4 times out of 5 it's like a switch goes off in their head.

The funny thing is they usually have the mirrors removed ( ) so cannot see behind so have to keep on going on their angry suicide run.

  10. I am always wary of guys under 55 moving here. Why would they come to Thailand when they could get beautiful young women at home. It must involve unnatural/deviant sex or even worse paid for sex with strangers. Thailand knowing this makes the visas much easier to get for those over 55 and the normal women here like older men much more than young boys. biggrin.png

What normal woman likes old men over men their own age?

You have fallen for the the old lie. I guess normal women call you 'handsum man" and you believe that too.

Women after quick cash might find an old codger on a dating site knowing that they will be rich after a few years graft.

    I believe that's called a bite. ;)biggrin.png

  11. All that was said to you was the Australian media quoted word for word the press releases of the Bangkok Post,

Unfortunately it was the same for Andrew Clements (International School teacher in Phuket).

Western media copied the Thai media of his arrest and the allegations against him.

All on absolutely no actual 'evidence', in a case that would eventually get thrown out of court after he spent how long in Thai prison?

Western career as a teacher finished! sad.png

But hey, that's Thais,Thai police and media for you. sad.png

  12. a number of young girls tell of their abuse

At least they're not claiming they saw him flying on a broomstick while his spirit transformed and killed people, like other children's testimonies.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk...gazine-14490790

Unfortunately there's Thais, money, and an easy target involved. sad.png

Don't automatically believe everything you read N. wink.png

And don't got to extreme to disbelieve the obvious and make yourself appear very desperate to defend a person who is almost certainly a pedophile even just based on the limited information released.

Children scared to leave house - parents question them - abuse comes out

Police state they confiscate more than a hundred child porn photos from his house some include him in the pictures

His maid states he saw child porn on his computer and that she saw him email the child porn to somebody overseas

All from the Royal Thai Police and the Thai media.

    It counts for nothing. :(

"The guy flees from authorities and illegally enters Burma (another place poor kids found) and stays in a rented house"

A 90 year old man flees from the people extorting him! Shockingly condemning. rolleyes.gif

"There has been numerous junctions in these court proceedings where evidence has been presented to judges that has allowed the charges to move forward because at the very minimum it has been determined he likely molested these children ... if that wasn't the case then the charges would not proceed."

How long did Andrew Clements spend in prison? (where he was extorted for everything he had btw)

There was NO evidence against him, except for an absolutely ludicrous claim by a disgruntled mother!

You don't appear to be very clued in to how Thailand operates. :(
