0w20 is the synthetic that will be used for thr 1.2 swift. Thats for fuel savings. The 5w30 should work as well.
Exactly.
5W30 for Semi-synthetic though
-
Wouldn't recommend Pulzar and neither semi-synthetic for a new car like yours.
Also I think Suzuki recommends 5W30 for a Suzuki 1.2 engine (K12B) and not 10W40.
Also don't forget to change your oil filter together with the new oil otherwise an oil change is quite useless.

People who park in front of my house gate because it's close to the market. When confronting them, the reply I get is "this is Thailand. I can park anywhere".
I have put up orange cones to at least keep a bit of space open so I can get out in case of an emergency, but they either drive over my cones or take them away.
So now I had to hire a guard to keep the people from parking in front of my house.

I'm guessing your 7 months of overstay didn't really play in your advantage.
As mentioned above 19 months in Thailand on a tourist visa makes the officers think that you are doing something which your visa doesn't allow = working.
I know working for an internet company or doing your business online doesn't actually fall under those conditions, but it's going to get a lot more difficult to keep doing what you do on your visa.
Maybe the multi-entry tourist visa they just came up with is a good option for you?

lived in Bangkok for 3 years and driven with Kalasin plates all over the place. Never had a problem.

I got those parts in Kalasin at our shop.

Again TV proving it's usefulness.
Ryan, next time try http://www.your-fitness-ud.com/index.html. When I went there a few months back it was 50 THB per day.
-
2012 Almera Top Grade will get you around 280,000 THB...

It's an infamous stop there Had it a few times. Usually just get through with a "warning".
Never gave my license without a reason though.
-
I usually double check if they are actually pouring diesel in my car.
Guy next to me at PTT near Wang Noi had gasohol 95 poured into his PJS.
-
Hey Ryan,
It was great to have you here We are in Kalasin though.
Take a look at http://www.trcmotorsport.com/ They might be able to help you out.

Just wondering what everyone is putting in their engines.
What's your favorite motor oil?
For my Pajero Sport 2012 (Diesel) I always use Motul 8100 X-Cess.
I gets great reviews and I buy it at distributor price as we are selling them at our car shop.

It's not something only us foreigners notice, but there are several campaigns going on to make people more considerate in traffic.
"Stop for Step" is one of those campaigns, albeit not getting much attention.
There are also other unofficial campaigns that try to shame people such as:
https://www.facebook.com/baddriveth/?fref=ts
https://www.facebook.com/IParkLikeAnIdiotThailand/?fref=ts
I remember seeing another campaign underlining the difference between Thai people before getting in a car and when driving.
Some of my friends are actually quite considerate in traffic (stopping for crossings, etc), but others aren't.
I can only hope that those who are considerate will teach their children properly and after so the amount of considerate people will overtake the amount of inconsiderate people.
I don't think it's all that much to do with training or education at the driving school either.
Most of the crazy things I see on the road whilst driving (+-40,000 km per year for work) I blame on lack of common sense or overestimating one's own or their vehicle's capabilities.
I have been out of Europe for a couple of years now, but I don't think I have ever seen a car commercial on TV in Belgium which shows racing each other in the city (Mazda) or driving through traffic like a maniac (Camry Sport).
Maybe people get influenced here quicker by seeing such a thing. Not sure

Sakhon Nakhon immigration wanted the letter stamped on the day of the application together with a transaction done on the bank book on the day of the application.
My branch of SCB is in Bangkok, but SCB accepts these letters to be done at any branch throughout Thailand. The guy at SCB even proposed to copy all my documents again to make sure they were in order for immigration.
-
Had the same once with my Non B. They extended it for 3 years instead of 2. Went back to Immigration to ask them to fix it.

What odds would it be that the vehicle that a motoring reporter takes out for a test drive and the vehicle bursts into flames. I am not saying it didn't happen but i am very suspicious . Are there any other cases of this Ford Everest bursting into Flames ?, especially now that December is traditionally the month a lot of new cars are sold at last years models. it is going to hurt Ford and other companies will benefit. News.com.au did a hatchet job a few months ago on Jeep , now perhaps it will be Ford Everest 's turn.
Just very cynical !
Let's wait for Ford AU to come back with an official statement. As for now, the incident did happen, that's a fact.

Wow, that's a shock - as Jitar says, hope the investigation results are transparent.
Just as I hope the investigation of this Fortuner crash is transparent:
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=776959312436380&id=221317851322226&refid=52&__tn__=%2As
Warning: graphic video
None of the airbags deployed and according to some follow up posts, the driver didn't make it. RIP.
Knowing Toyota for a long time now, the results will never be completely transparent.
Back in 2007, I was on the team in Japan to translate internal email communication between TMC and TMS' engineering departments and top management regarding the pedal issue investigation.
Translations were necessary for the lawyers back in the US to make their case.
All I can say is (still under contract, so have to keep what I know secret), they are never going to be transparent.
-
Call up the Toyota dealer nearest to your house and ask if they have a body and paint shop. They can probably sort it out.

When I applied at Sakhon Nakhon for an extension of stay based upon marriage I had a witness with me. They also visited my home 7 days after I applied.
They did check with me first if they could visit on that day. Very courteous officers working at Sakhon Nakhon.

wow rules have changed. My bad then. Please ignore my reply.

Using a combination of income and bank balance, no time requirement on how long funds should have been in bank.
The monthly income shown in the Embassy letter x 12 months added to the bank balance should total 800,000 Baht or more (remember, exchange rates fluctuate, Immigration uses the rate in effect on the date of application).
That's what I found...
-
I might be mistaken, but it didn't say in the article that alcohol at restaurants or so would be band. It says tourist sites. Doesn't that mean like parks, natural reserves, temples, etc? I can't see why that would be such a bad thing.
-
When I went to apply for an extension of stay based upon marriage (non-immigrant o) at Sakhon Nakhon, they asked my wife to fill in the TM 30.
We didn't have to pay a fine for not filling it in right away, but they did request to fill it in during the application process on that day.

Both Kumho and Nexen are Korean brands.
Nitto is a Japanese brand. I would recommend looking online what suits your driving the most.
As for my shop, we sell Hankook, Nexen and Nitto. Nexen comes in the cheapest.
