The output supported on a ranger is 60/55W at 12Vs.

You are right, the Revo comes with the motors installed. The Revo's in Malaysia and the Philippines do come with electronically adjustable headlights.

If they are genuine Phillips bulbs then 2,500 THB is not expensive...but he's probably talking about LED bulbs which use Philips Z S leds. Why not opt for an Osram Xenarc HID kit? I think they are around 6,000 THB...It's why I did on my civic as well.

I found that in the mean time, and read some reviews as well, which seem to be pretty positive.
Though you're in Bangkok, and I'm in Pattaya and don't recall to have seen them around, so how much would it cost to post them?
Not more than 100 THB to ship them out, but I am quite sure that large parts dealers in Pattaya will carry TRW as well.

It's an American company which was bought by ZF a couple of years back.

I would recommend TRW as that is what our shop has been selling for 15 years.
A set of brake pads for a Navara would be 1,050 THB incl vat.

All they need to do is type in your passport number linked to your driver license and they would find the record...

There are two types in Thailand 1/Fixed speeding cameras 2/Mobile cameras (a guy sitting next to the road). Most of the time the fixed cameras have warning signs a couple of hundred meters before the actual camera...the mobile cameras do not. If you want to avoid fines, I recommend sticking to the speed limit or buying a radar for your car from Ebay might work, but not with all frequencies.

You can request your bank in your home country to transfer 65,000 THB to your account in Thailand (they will figure out the exchange rate and transfer the appropriate amount of currency of your home country.) At least that's what a few German friends have been doing for the past years.

Or you could purchase my Suzuki Caribian ????

Who actually supplies parts to Ford? I guess they don't manufacture their own parts? I do recall once seeing parts in a fiesta/focus that were stamped "made in Indonesia". It seems to me it would be hard for Ford to check the quality of their parts during their production when they are made all over the place. Do Honda and Toyota outsource production of many of their components?
No car makers makes his own parts anymore. Those days are long gone. These days it's who can deliver the cheapest part within the specifications set out by the manufacturer. As for Honda, they still import many parts from Japan (especially the more fickly electronic parts), but tend to keep a large stock in their warehouses both in Ayutthaya and Bangkok. Most horns on Japanese cars are made by Mitsuba so are the wipers and those are made in Malaysia if I remember correctly.

If you want all the apps you can get on a smart fone, get rid of the factory garbage (this goes for all brands) and install an Android based system. Updates keep all the apps current, and no waiting for the auto maker to get off their backside and update, which will be outdated anyway.
Did this on our Teana, about 20K, and very pleased. Touch screen just like a smart fone.
Or just use Android Auto or Apple Carplay...Works fine in my civic.

Seems like quite a widespread problem as the Ford F150 has the exact same issues in the US...maybe they should change their supplier of their door latches...
-
The Ford.au website is probably just looking at the date of manufacturing -> 2012 and later. Ford.th website is just not working ????
-
If I remember correctly the Ford Ranger was recalled last month in Australia for faulty door latches...seeing as these are built in Thailand that might be it.

The designs looks good and the quality might be ok, but I would be more worried about the lack of spare parts. There are stories on the MG message boards of people having to wait 2 to 3 months for a windshield as these are imported by SAIC from China. Also the fact that certain "cheap" parts such as oil filters, air filters, etc are way more expensive than their Japanese counter parts.

Why can it not be polished with proper "windshield" polish? Have done it many times before here at our shop.

It’s the low-beam projectors that are the issue, maybe I’ll try the HID conversion on those, apparently LED aren’t good in projectors; more spread but the ‘hotspot’ is lost.
I agree with you. I changed mine to Osram 6000K HIDs. Absolutely love them, I can highly recommend.

Unfortunately the C-HR doesn’t come with apple CarPlay but has Toyota tConnect. Perhaps something in there but will use my iPhone which makes it all very simple although quite ludicrous as well that I need too.
Wow I am surprised that it didn't come with Apple CarPlay. I guess Toyota is still using Fujitsu Ten for their systems and those might work well in Japan (logical street names, addressed, etc), but they don't really work here.

Just hope they’ve sorted the headlights out, they’re pretty abysmal on the 2016 sedan, apart from that, a good ride.
headlights are still the same projector + halogen bulb. They can be easily upgraded to the RS led headlights for 30,000 THB or you can put an aftermarket HID kit or LEDs in.

Any links? That would be a surprise given that Honda has one of the highest reliability factors of any manufacturer
Highest reliability for sure, but at this moment the new civic has a few issues: leaking valve covers, leaking oil pan gaskets, broken steering columns, gasoline + oil mix, leaking main seal. I ain't bashing as I drive a civic myself. Just be ready for a recall soon. Gasoline and oil mix is only for 1.5 turbos.

It may be a while before we get that. I think the CRV will abandon the 2.4 and opt for the 1.5 turbo in the meantime. Probably at the next model change.
Probably. 1.5 Turbo already available in the CRV in Europe. Now, get ready for a major recall from Honda soon in Thailand...Was informed that for many 1.5 turbos there is gasoline seeping into the engine oil.

I am sure there is going to be a long list of exceptions to vehicles that are not accepted under the 2 hour rule as parts are not in stock.
