Good.
I don't want an experimental, emergency-use vaccine for something that has a 99+% recovery rate, and I don't want any help from my government.
But the way, why does the letter refer to the "Biden-Harris administration"? Why include the mostly ceremonial role of vice president in the title? I assume we are being primed for the 25th amendment.
And what does this mean: "The US diplomatic mission has not been spared by COVID-19, as several families in our community have endured tragedies from this terrible pandemic."
So I read this as what? People working for the US government in Thailand have...died? I have never heard anything about this, and I am sure if that were the case, we would have known about it. Could someone explain? And why say "terrible" to modify the situation? Was that fear-inducing adjective necessary?
...and lots of bantering of the word "equitable" without actually offering your citizens anything rings hollow.

Phuket painted itself into a corner by pulling this 70 percent vaccine level out of their...hat.
If a person enters Thailand (or anywhere else for that matter) fully vaccinated, they are neutral with regards the virus. They are not carriers nor susceptible to infection. This is the ENTIRE reason vaccines are created and used.
The vaccine levels are irrelevant if the vaccines work, and no one says they don't work.

The lead photo of the sign on the beach extolling you to wear a mask is probably the single best way to make people NOT come to Thailand.
It is already well understood that coronaviruses do not transmit outside, and the salt air, breezes and sunlight should be enjoyed without constraint.
If I was looking for a place to holiday, and saw that sign, that would be enough for me to cancel any plans to come to the Land of Masks.

"Good news stories on 90 Day online reporting are always appreciated.
just hope they outweigh the bad ones."
Huh? We are just reporting the facts according to our experiences.
I can't imagine that reporting in person one time would affect the online system afterwards. That would render the online system useless for many even though it "works." Moreover, I have sometimes used the online system and others in person. IF the online system is actually up, there has been no disruption regardless of how I reported.
In the end, I had to go in person. Does that mean, according to theory, that I can never use the online system again?

"It appears that the system is checking your previous online report records and is detecting that you are late for doing the report due to doing a report in person or by mail when the extranet was down for 2 months."
I have NEVER been late a day for any reporting in 15 years.
I used the drive-thru "service" last time because I missed the window of time. So I have obeyed like a good soldier in every instance. If the system is "working," I would not say it's working well.
By the way, I use a computer. I don't want immigration software app on my trackable phone. Not that I'm paranoid, just like to keep a clean and orderly house....

Quarantine for arrivals from certain provinces to Chiang Mai
in Chiang Mai
"All travellers entering Chiang Mai from the 10 Dark-Red Provinces must undergo COVID swab test on arrival...."
I know for a fact that at least one plane landing yesterday from Bangkok did not require any passengers to test upon entering Chiang Mai.
