I know for a fact that at least one plane landing yesterday from Bangkok did not require any passengers to test upon entering Chiang Mai. 

Why the taxi and not the truck? 

There is no big mystery here. 

Most of the <deleted> is from fishing boats. I lived on Samui many years and it was well known that this was the issue. 

Given the level of governmental shenanigans and the highly suspect acumen of the academic world here, how much do you trust this "new" information? 

Is this "study" peer reviewed and published in a recognized journal?

Do your own dogs usually howl and bark all night, irrespective of any other dogs?

That talk is easy to make on a chat forum where you are safe in your space. Try that in real life and I think you might get a reaction that doesn't meet your fantasy expectations....

It's good to see the OP admits, albeit tacitly, that outdoor wearing of masks is 100% kabuki.

If a person enters Thailand (or anywhere else for that matter) fully vaccinated, they are neutral with regards the virus. They are not carriers nor susceptible to infection.  This is the ENTIRE reason vaccines are created and used. 

The vaccine levels are irrelevant if the vaccines work, and no one says they don't work. 

How is this incident racist? 

It's interesting to see those on motorbikes with no helmet yet wearing the face diaper.

Actually, Google knows where you are ... or your phone, which is more or less "you," so who cares? 

I'm still waiting to hear any word on whether these intrepid foreigners will be required, as per national mandate, to wear a face diaper ALL THE TIME after leaving their

Huh? We are just reporting the facts according to our experiences.

I can't imagine that reporting in person one time would affect the online system afterwards. That would render the online system useless for many even though it "works." Moreover, I have sometimes used the online system and others in person. IF the online system is actually up, there has been no disruption regardless of how I reported. 

In the end, I had to go in person. Does that mean, according to theory, that I can never use the online system again? 

Not working for me in the past number of days. 

I have never been late in 15 years, so it's not that. Tried 3 different browsers. Zilch.

 I have NEVER been late a day for any reporting in 15 years. 

I used the drive-thru "service" last time because I missed the window of time. So I have obeyed like a good soldier in every instance. If the system is "working," I would not say it's working well. 

 By the way, I use a computer. I don't want immigration software app on my trackable phone. Not that I'm paranoid, just like to keep a clean and orderly house....

I should mention that I have used the online "service" many times in the past (and have met this before too). 

The online system is definitely not working. Hasn't been for a number of days. Tried three different browsers. No go.
