What about people with a retirement Visa who are married with a Thai child who didn't want to go through the ridiculous hurdles of the marriage Visa and just went the 800,000 baht route?

What a revelation a word "Coronavirus" containing the word "Virus" is actually a virus.  Obviously he must be a brilliant doctor!

I assume that the police actually took her to the local police station to be charged but this is Thailand!

At the moment because of lockdown the electric usage is being reduced to that used in February.  In addition there is a 3% discount.  Your landlord should at maximum be charging you for the same units that you used in February and giving you a 3% discount. 

That means nearly 3 million people must have remained in the malls overnight!

Pattaya bars weren't doing that well even at Christmas.  After this covid19 pandemic I doubt if even 50% of them will be able to reopen. 

Now is probably the time to actually restrict the areas that they can open in. There is no need for girly bars in every street or area.

Completely insane fines and jail sentences. Not even sure if they are legally enforceable.  But breaking the curfew in Pattaya fines start at 20,000!

He's bonkers to book a flight that soon. At the moment he couldn't even drink wine with his dinner yet alone walk on the Beach. My daughter normally visits me every Christmas she's missing this year and coming out in December 2021. He might have to self quarantine in Government Quarantine in Thailand and again when he returns home. 

At Jomtien one year when I renewed my retirement Visa it was about 3 days before my 90 day report.  They kindly told me to renew my 90 day report or i would face a fine if I came back in 90 days as the extension of a Visa had nothing to do with the 90 day reporting. 

My Thai wife driving near Mabprachan lake was stopped by the police and asked to wind her window down. The police checked that every body in the car was wearing a mask.  Luckily she was. Stupid only she and my daughter were in the car. They don't have to wear masks at home only if they go into shops.

I bet all criminals will immediately sign up for this app. Apparently some Ministers of the Government think us poor farangs are criminals so we probably will be asked to put the app on our phones when we do our 90 day report.  

Local restaurants are not allowed to serve alcohol and everyone has to sit 1metre apart and tables have to be 1.5 metres apart and not allowed to play music.  Everybody has to be home by 10pm. Just apply those rules  and have fun.

If a neighbour complains you are still breaking the rules I don't think you are allowed visitors in your house unless you have a covid19 health certificate certificate obtained in the last 48 hours stating that all of you are covid19 free.

California's high taxes are driving businesses away and the stupid local government imposing extra lockdown restrictions is the last straw. I don't like Musk but at least this is a sensible decision.  I hope many others follow him so the ridiculously high taxes of California make California bankrupt. 

Thai Air should be privatised. Now even if the Minister in charge of Transport is changed he can change the MD of Thai Air. Without an experienced person in charge it will continue to lose money. It can't remain a play toy for politicians. 

It's probably to keep off the pesky vendors who come from Thailand's border countries ????

For a foreigner it is their passport number for a Thai it is their Thai ID number
