“Now China says Wuhan wet market was NOT the origin of the coronavirus pandemic but it may have been the site of a 'super-spreader' event”
“Chinese authorities previously said the first cases of the virus emerged at a local seafood market in Wuhan.
But a study of the animals being sold there rules this theory out, after all samples of the animals in the market tested negative for COVID-19.
'It now turns out that the market is one of the victims,' Gao F u, the director of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control (CDC), told Chinese state media yesterday.”
The CDC is the second lab in Wuhan and is only 500 metres from the market. Although it is less famous than the Institute of Virology, where Bat Woman was based, it has done research on the bats on its premises.

I thought that they have always claimed that when he was London Mayor, he never helped her with her business interests. Instead, whenever he visited her privately, it was so that she could give him some computer technology lessons.
In other words, I guess, she was showing him how to put his (not so) floppy disk into her hard drive. But as we all know, it’s always Johnson, and not his critics, who talks “an inverted pyramid of piffle”.

China is planning to build one P3 research laboratory in each of its 23 province to improve the nation's epidemic-control capabilities and 'protect people's health'.
P3 labs have the second-highest biological safety standards and are designed to study pathogens that may cause severe or potentially lethal airborne diseases.

Well, maybe they have been distracted by more pressing problems. It looks like China may be about to experience a second wave of coronavirus, this time in Jilin province, which is near Mongolia. Wuhan is in Hunan province. Yunnan caves of bats are near Laos and Myanmar (see photo maps below).
The Chinese claim to have found patient 0, but it is not clear how she became infected.

“China has been accused of covering up the severity of the pandemic after it emerged, costing the world vital weeks of preparation.
‘China's President Xi Jinping knew about the coronavirus on January 7, yet China only shut down the epicentre of the outbreak, Hubei province, on January 23, after five million people had left to travel through China and to the rest of the world.”

If you spent your time following and reading the links you would know the answer to your question; instead, as you admit yourself you know “nothing” about the origin of the virus.I explained to you in post #78 on page 6 of this thread ^^ that links to Daily Mail and Daily Express are not protected by paywalls and so are easy for people to read for free.
Here is another example. The Times has been showing the diary of a Wuhan resident called Fang Fang:
“.... it had been revealed that the novel coronavirus in Wuhan was being spread from human to human. Official media sources had consistently been telling us it was “not contagious between people; it’s controllable and preventable”.”
“By January 25, day one of the lunar new year, people had started to settle down a bit. The media reported that China’s top-level leaders were closely following the outbreak in Wuhan and that a team of medical experts from Shanghai had arrived.
But that was also when the period of true suffering arrived here in Wuhan — the number of people infected with the coronavirus exploded. The hospital system was brought to the brink of collapse. The infected ended up traipsing all over the city, in the wind and rain, searching in vain for treatment. We all felt completely helpless in the face of these patients crying out, desperate for help.”
99.9% of readers of this thread will not be paying a subscription and so can’t enjoy the diary.
An alternative is to read this article in the Mail, which talks about the Times article:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8327837/They-told-wasnt-contagious.html
On your logo, you want us to know that you are a “perennial outcast”, who is, like many 3 year olds I guess, “always on the naughty step”.
I am not surprised as your name “Traubert” is an anagram of “True brat”. Psychologists will tell you that “true brats are not born; they are created.”
Never mind, just read the links and the interesting comments by rabas and Dr Tuner and you may change. Good luck.

This I've been wondering about, could somebody point out the two in google maps? Thanks to CCP there's no streetview. Would seem utterly insane to have a BSL-4 lab within city limits. Should be somewhere in the middle of a desert.
Wuhan Centre for Disease Control is BSL-2; Wuhan Institute of Virology where Bat Woman worked is BSL-4.
Not google maps but these two pictures may help:
The CDC still had access to bats, and so could be the source of the virus:
“One of the researchers at the WHCDC described quarantining himself for two weeks after a bat's blood got on his skin, according to the report. That same man also quarantined himself after a bat urinated on him.”
This link shows, if you’re interested, the differences between BSL-1, -2, -3, and -4:

Most detailed study yet puts the first human SARS2 infection in 6 October to 11 December.
The largest study yet is based on 7666 genomes, which allows higher precision. Early October is also the time of reported communications and possible operational disruptions at the Wuhan Virology lab.
Emergence of genomic diversity and recurrent mutations in SARS-CoV-2
"Phylogenetic estimates support that the COVID-2 pandemic started sometimes around 6 October 2019–11 December 2019, which corresponds to the time of the host-jump into humans."
18-26 October 2019 is also when the World Military Games were held in Wuhan. Several French athletes caught what they thought at the time was flu.
“A lot of athletes at the World Military Games were very ill,’ said Elodie Clouvel, a world champion modern pentathlete.”
The month before, September, a drill had been carried out to test Chinese protocols should someone become ill at the Games in October. The illness in the drill was ..... Coronavirus.
In March 2019, Shi Zenghli, Bat Woman, had warned officials that a coronavirus epidemic was likely in China, because of the wet markets selling exotic animals for people to eat. But her advice to shut down these markets was not followed.
“Another report by other scientists entitled The Possible Origins Of 2019-nCoV Coronavirus – was published on a site used by scientists to share research. It called for tighter security in high-risk laboratories but was mysteriously withdrawn after two days ..... It said 605 bats were kept in the Wuhan Centre for Disease Control, which is about 500 yards from the market. It described how bats attacked, bled and urinated on one researcher, forcing him into quarantine on two occasions. ‘It is plausible that the virus leaked,’ it said.”

IIRC correctly, the youtube video of the Wuhanese nurse pleading for help and claiming it had mutated was on 15th January. That would mean a lesser strain was circulating from around November or earlier. Was CCP aware of this? I would find it strange if they weren't.
Here is a report by a young British teacher, who was in Wuhan last year. On 25th November 2019, he caught what he thought initiallyy was flu. Later he goes to local hospital, and much later he is advised by the hospital that he has coronavirus, not flu. Well written.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8075633/First-British-victim-25-describes-coronavirus.html

A private pool is for example the pool in your villa garden

All Brits should be banned so that other nationalities can relax and enjoy the public pools.
If the officials read foreign newspapers, they will probably ban all Brits from using the public pools, because they do not understand what is meant by social distancing. All they want to do is stand around the pool drinking beer. If this is how they behave in UAE, think what they will get up to in more alcohol liberal Thailand.

Here's another symptom for you to research on the internet, redness around the eyes, not in the eyes, around the eyes. Crack on!
Yes red eye problems are well known and also loss of taste and smell, but this thread is about Covid Toes.
There are numerous strains of the virus going round the world, which may explain these variations.

It was a reported phenomenon in young children and from the UK. It was weeks ago so can't provide a link.
My neighbour has a 2 year old son who is often sickly. I have been checking his feet every time he comes around.
Just because it was weeks ago does not prevent you from doing an internet check. To help you, I did another google search, as you seem to be too busy checking your next door neighbour’s son’s feet, and here is a link about a woman in the US, rather than the UK, with a blue toe as a symptom:https://www.mirror.co.uk/science/new-coronavirus-symptom-look-out-21893870
Covid19 seems to cause in some people rashes and discolouration instead of fever and respiratory problems.

I first read about this several weeks ago when it was referred to as "blue toe". Nothing new here.
The toes in the two OP photos are not blue.
I did a google search, but could not find “blue toe”, only BTS (Blue Toe Syndrome). Is that what you meant? But patients often seem to be elderly; Covid Toe patients seem to be mainly children and teenagers.
Also some of the BTS links are quite old and certainly predate November/December 2019 when Covid-19 first appeared
Here’s one link to BTS:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4884725/
If you are referring to something else, then do you have a link to show that it is caused by coronavirus?
Maybe it is not a symptom that is new to you, but so far as I’m aware this is the first time it has appeared on this sub forum.

Quotes of two paragraphs from the article to give you an idea of its content.
“There is no current evidence to suggest that coronavirus leaked from a Chinese research laboratory, intelligence sources have told the Guardian, contradicting recent White House claims that there is growing proof this is how the pandemic began.
‘Stories have suggested that workers in the lab may not have always used full protective equipment, and that in one instance a bat urinated on a researcher who did not subsequently become ill.
But there is nothing to indicate a leak from the lab could have caused the pandemic, sources say.”
-
“A report was drawn up by the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), a think tank affiliated with the Ministry of State Security, China's top intelligence body ... Beijing faces a wave of anti-China sentiment led by the United States in the aftermath of the pandemic and needs to be prepared in a worst-case scenario for armed confrontation between the two global powers ...”
”Without directly addressing the assessment made in the Chinese report, Morgan Ortagus (US State Department): 'Beijing's efforts to silence scientists, journalists, and citizens and spread disinformation exacerbated the dangers of this health crisis.'”

Below is a link to a recent article in the Daily Telegraph about Wuhan’s Institute of Virology, and of course, Shi Zhinghli, aka Bat Woman.
The problem for 99.9% of you is that the Daily Telegraph operates a paywall. I am not a subscriber; instead, I get an email once a week will links to 3 or 4 articles which I can read for free; the link below was one of those offered to me yesterday. They are hoping that eventually I will relent and pay a monthly fee to read the whole newspaper.
If you click on the link, they will probably offer you the chance to get limited free access each week, and having joined you can then read the article below. Afterwards you can then cancel if you don’t want to receive their weekly email.
However, it illustrates the point I was making in the last post. Unlike sites with paywall barriers, the Mail and Express are free to look at, although I appreciate that one or two of you will need to sit in a dark corner somewhere so that your friends cannot see that you are looking at **shock**horror*** the Daily Mail. They might think that you are sneaking a look at the Mail’s Sidebar of Shame: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Sidebar of Shame
Anyway, here is a quote of three paragraphs from the Daily Telegraph article linked below:
“And it is not clear that Covid 19 was always handled only in Level-4 labs.
"Of course it is possible that is was human error," said a French scientist that visited the Wuhan lab.
"But you must remember that the most virulent coronavirus are considered level BSL3 and other coronavirus are level BSL2."
‘That would raise the possibility of a leak from another lab - possibly Wuhan's Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, a completely separate institution that is based 300 metres from the Wuhan market initially identified as the source of the virus.”
In my previous post, which replied to Mr Traubert above, I gave a link to a medical report published in The Lancet in January. It showed that of the 41 people infected with the virus, only 27 (66%) had been to the Wuhan Wet Market. So how did the other 14 (33%) get infected? We don’t know, but maybe their infection came from Wuhan’s Centre For Diseases, which Is BSL-2 (Biosafety level 2).Shi Zenghli, Bat Woman, seems only to have investigated and cleared Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), where she worked, of negligent activity; she made no comment about Wuhan’s Centre for Diseses, which is only 300 meters from the wet market.
In the unlikely event that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) allows an international, independent investigation, it would need to examine all three sites: the wet market; Wuhan’s Institute of Virology; and the Centre for Diseases.

Studies show that bald men risk getting severe coroanavirus
in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Posted
Quotes:
”In one study of 122 patients, 79 per cent of men who tested positive in three Madrid hospitals were bald. It was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
‘An earlier study of 41 patients in Spain found 71 per cent were bald. It should be noted these were relatively small-scale studies and scientists have said more work needs to be done.
‘The background rate of baldness in white men of a similar age to those studied is between 31 and 53 per cent - a significant drop.“
