Quote from source : https://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/ethnic-cleansing.shtml The Commission of Experts also stated that the coercive practices used to remove the civilian population can include: murder, torture, arbitrary arrest and detention, extrajudicial executions, rape and sexual assaults, severe physical injury to civilians, confinement of civilian population in ghetto areas, forcible removal, displacement and deportation of civilian population, deliberate military attacks or threats of attacks on civilians and civilian areas, use of civilians as human shields, destruction of property, robbery of personal property, attacks on hospitals, medical personnel, and locations with the Red Cross/Red Crescent emblem, among others. The Commission of Experts added that these practices can “… constitute crimes against humanity and can be assimilated to specific war crimes. Furthermore, such acts could also fall within the meaning of the Genocide Convention.” -
Israel is at War - General discussion (pt2)
Thorgal replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
Was explained earlier that 7th of October attacks was composed out of a mixture of different militia factions within Gaza followed by many civilians that was not part of these more ore less targeted attacks of : 1. Kibbutzim to take maximum hostages after neutralizing Israeli security forces 2. Military bases around Gaza : neutralizing them to be able to take maximum of hostages 3. Rave party : was not foreseen or planned int the attacks because it was not announced in advanced of the extension day on 7th of October 2023 Many lootings and extra judicial killings (like the Thai worker) happened but were not part of the plan of taking hostages. Telling that all Gaza militants went out for extra judicial killings and looting is not correct. It just fits the Israeli narrative... -
Iran says it helped broker release of Thais held in Gaza

Quote from same link : "It's beyond anything that I've seen in my career," Marc Garlasco, a military advisor for the Dutch organization PAX and a former senior intelligence analyst at the Pentagon, told The New York Times. Sounds reasonable as he reported to NYTimes. At least it's not a random arm chair expert... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Garlasco Quote from same link : - By comparison, US military officials felt that the 500-pound aerial bomb was too large to use on most Islamic State targets in urban parts of Mosul, Iraq, and Raqqa, Syria. - The Gaza Strip is just 141 square miles with a population of around two million people, making it one of the most densely populated places in the world. -

(military analyst says) Quote from link : https://www.businessinsider.com/israel-using-big-bombs-weighing-1-000-to-2-000-pounds-gaza-report-2023-11?r=US&IR=T - Most of the bombs Israel is using in Gaza are exceptionally big, weighing 1,000 to 2,000 pounds. - The use of such large bombs on such a small area might only compare to Vietnam or World War II, an analyst said. - The size and scale of the bombing is raising the civilian death toll, analysts told The New York Times. This was debunked more than once in previous topic #1. Awaiting some revisionist reply that Vietnam and during WW2 no carpet bombing happened... -

Pure sort of Iranian McCarthyism. Hamas could not provide 100% full safety of the Israeli hostages due to constant Israeli carpet bombing. Hamas could not provide 100% full comfort as food, medicines, healthcare etc... to the Israeli hostages due to blockade of Israel and the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza hospitals. Anything else that smelts bad ? -

They shake hands and call them by their first names...I've also noticed that most of the Israeli hostages were very close (humane) to the Hamas guards. I'm not sure if the Israeli hostages will be able to tell their story unplugged in front of a decent unbiased media outlet. Others will say it's the Stockholm syndrome...or whatever... I didn't see any similar footage till now of Israeli military guards doing high fives with Palestinian hostages and calling the hostages by their first names. -

There's still a Hamas leadership in Qatar, not so far from Iran by the way if you need a direct communication line... -

OP is about Iran influence for Asian hostages taken by Hamas in Israel and exchanged for Palestinian hostages. The rest is off topic (as usual). -

The size of the bag is not relevant. The desaturation of oxygen content in the bag is, when lower than 90% vol. The helium gas (lighter than oxygen) made the desaturation in this case. -

Quote from Thaiger link : "The Thai maid added that suicide was possible because Vachaudez had financial problems and had divorced his Thai wife. According to the maid, Vachaudez had been running a resin casting business in Thailand for over 10 years and recently ran into financial problems." "Vachaudez used to live in Chiang Mai with his Thai wife and children but they divorced. The wife and children later moved to live abroad. Vachaudez once told the maid that many of his friends had committed suicide and that he would do the same one day." -

I didn't blame the messenger. The messenger his "credible links" were not reliable and too biased. It's based on Iranian opposition and I could not trace it on "mediabiasfactcheck" too. So I didn't blame anybody. I just pinpointed that the sources used are not reliable for me. Writing : "Just say you have no clue at all, its fine..." without providing feedback or response to my post and not adding reliable links is...rather contradicting yourself. (LOL) -

Your source is too biased to be neutral. Now you've copied other posters their links... Just say you have no clue at all, its fine....oh Sungod (+LOL) Quote from source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_International "According to Middle East Eye, Iran International is a media platform for the Iranian opposition.[29] Kourosh Ziabari of Al-Monitor wrote it "does not shy away from presenting itself as an opposition media organization" and frequently gives the microphone to guests who criticize the Iranian government.[30] The channel has been referred to as an "Iranian exile news outlet" by Borzou Daragahi of The Independent.[31] The channel is known for raising the profile of Reza Pahlavi, the last heir apparent to the former Iranian throne, by constant coverage and repeatedly interviewing him.[29] It also airs coverage of People's Mujahedin of Iran (MEK), including live broadcast of their rallies." -

Good for Thai hostages that are/will be free!!! Quote from link : https://www.timesofisrael.com/report-hamas-set-to-release-23-thai-hostages-in-side-deal-brokered-by-iran/ "According to an unnamed Egyptian source quoted in London-based pan-Arab news site Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Thursday, Hamas is also set to release 23 Thai hostages following Iranian mediation between the Palestinian terror group and Bangkok. Iran has provided Bangkok with details on the condition of the Thai abductees set to be released. Bangkok says it believes 26 of its citizens were abducted on October 7. The deal is separate from the Qatar-mediated temporary truce between Israel and Hamas set to go into effect Friday at 7 a.m." -

Hamas are Sunni Muslim. Qatar has been a sponsor for long time to Hamas. Hezbollah, Yemen and Iran are Shia Muslim. Hamas uses majority of DIY weapons/rockets. Again, there's no Iranian involvement in providing weapons and cash to sponsor the 7th of October attacks of Hamas. That Iran helped releasing the Asian hostages is good news for all. -

Iran had nothing to do with 7th of October attacks. Not even Hezbollah was informed of these Hamas attacks.
