    Seriously?

    air asia receipt.jpg

The 100 baht charge was shown on Airasia's payment page for counter payment last time I booked. I cant read my receipt from Family Mart as it is in Thai, and may include something I bought? Anyway, I cant load Air Asia's payment page on Explorer at the moment, to show you what comes up for a fake booking. However on my mobile, a fake 1 way booking shows a 70baht  processing fee for Counter payment and a note saying that an ADDITIONAL fee will be charged by the merchant.

So maybe nothing has changed, other than wording on the payment page?

Illegal, pirated software? Why bother when the originals are so cheap and you can support the people who invested years of their lives to create them?

Funny you should say that. I just bought Half Life 2 from steam for 18.9 Bhat (updated version) + other related titles for 15.9 Baht. I bought a pirate version of it when it first came out and paid £10 for it.

    ...don't see them steal anything....

    ...guilty by looks alone...???

...gotta wonder about exchange booths too....

...do they give the customer a copy of the serial numbers...???

Go to 1.24 and look at the guy in the Hat Yai t-shirt's right hand.... Watch him pick up the stolen item shown in the police photo.

  4. Seriously, what a waste of time.

Why not just do what they do in Hong Kong, and have betting shops that are legal and taxed. At least if its legal and taxed, there is government money available to assist with any social problems caused by this behavior (that will occur anyway). I used to have a brother in law that would spend his entire wages on football gambling and take zero home to my sister in law.

Oh the hypocrisy …..Don't forget that it is OK to go to Bangkok and bet on horses [source: http://www.bangkok.com/sport-horse-racing.htm]

Fake cover over the card slot of an ATM that reads the card info combined with a small camera and/or a DTMF reader to capture the pin code. All info is then relayed usually via Bluetooth or WiFi meaning the criminals need to be fairly close at all times....like this

i always think atm need code..???? how he can get code...??? and if get the code from observe victim how he can get card details....

Part of the problem is the false sense of security people have. I have yet to see a Thai cover their fingers up whilst typing in their pin number.

I caught a middle aged Thai women in a Tesco Bangkok looking over my shoulder while I was using an ATM once. Who knows what she was up to?

  6. I came in mid day on the 27th of March from Macau, and it took me 40 minutes to get through immigration (I was first to join the queue out of everyone on my flight). I have to give immigration staff credit, for taking the Chinese tour groups to separate booths that they set up on the fly, otherwise I could of missed my connection in the 2nd terminal.

  7. Does anybody know what's happening to Air Asia flights between Surat Thani and Kuala Lumpur? I have been trying to book a flight all weekend on AirAsias site but KUL is now missing from the drop down menu. I have flown this route a few times recently and the plane was always full, so I can't imaging them killing the route.

I tried ringing Airasia but it is constantly engaged, and live chat is useless. I spent over 2 hours waiting for live chat yesterday,  and eventually got to #1 and was greeted with "How can I help you?" ......only to be ignored when I asked anything.

    Any clues?

Just seen this and it's similar to my problem.

I've got a Samsung S7 Edge which was bought in the UK. It was dropped and the glass back (not the screen) was broken.  My wife phoned the Samsung repair centre in Roi Et, which we've used before for her old phone but there seems to be a problem as it wasn't bought in Thailand.  Not sure of the exact problem but it seems they check the imei number before they repair.

I'm flying back to the UK on the 3rd of March so I'll probably end up getting it done then but it's more difficult because I need my phone more there than here. A longer term issue is that I gave my wife my old UK bought S6 so if that had problem so might I. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just ordered one of these to hide a cracked glass in the corner of my phone, so it might be a good $3 investment for you also?
