  1. A well-deserved beating. Hopefully, she's learned a thing or two about picking fights and harassing people.
  2. The index literally measures perceived corruption, hence the name: Corruption Perceptions Index.
  3. Cambodia being the aggressor and Thailand reacting to their escalation is backed up by foreign experts. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/29/world/asia/thailand-cambodia-china-weapons.html
  4. There is footage (linked earlier), but it shows he caused the accident, contrary to what he and his family are claiming.
  5. The CCTV footage can be viewed here: https://www.hln.be/buitenland/belgische-jeremy-wordt-aangereden-in-thailand-maar-mag-ziekenhuis-niet-verlaten-tot-hij-60-000-euro-betaalt-ik-revalideer-alleen-zonder-medische-zorgen~ab278b40
  6. In related news, Cambodian soldiers have filmed the damage done to the Preah Vihear temple, which just happens to include burned weapons and crates containing advanced anti-tank missiles produced by China. This not only proves that the temple was a legitimate military target and that Thailand had every right to target it to neutralize the military base Cambodia had established there, but also that Cambodia has violated UNESCO's rules for world heritage sites. Woops. https://x.com/ArmyMilitaryHD/status/2006703117203866070
  7. As is often the case with "AI", this is wrong. Thailand has refused to attend the ICJ after its rulings on Preah Vihear, saying they don't recognize its authority in further border disputes. Thailand has, however, not violated the existing rulings awarding the Preah Vihear temple and its immediate surrounding area to Cambodia. Hence, why Thailand is no longer present in said area. Cambodia is now claiming a much larger area around the temple, and Thailand has refused attending the ICJ again to settle this claim. But that does not mean that Thailand has "chosen not to comply with" earlier rulings.
  8. No one has been "outed". The refugee camp was originally on Cambodian soil, but those who remained slowly crept over the border and extended the "village" to Thai territory, which is what Thailand is reclaiming.
  9. Sure, but it would be easy for Cambodia to deny it, and make a big deal internationally about Thailand opening fire during a ceasefire. They are hell-bent on being portrayed as the victim, and Thailand knows that. As the bigger and more developed country, Thailand is already being held to a higher standard internationally, so they have to be more careful in how they deal with things like this. Thailand is wise to maintain their moral high ground.
  10. And have Cambodia claim that Thailand has broken the ceasefire by firing weapons? Not a very good idea (and likely exactly what Cambodia was hoping for).
  11. Vishnu is on the emblem of the Cambodian Engineering Corps. It's not some old religious site, but a recently constructed military monument that Cambodia built in a disputed area.
  12. Already happened. A Thai soldier stepped on one this morning.
  13. "the legal border has been defined by the international Courts many years ago" The ICJ has never ruled on where the border is. They have only awarded Cambodia Preah Vihear and its immediate surrounding area.
  14. Hardly surprising, with Cambodia firing their rocket artillery indiscriminately, not caring if they're hitting legitimate military targets or civilians.
  15. Cambodia has already been caught numerous times using human shields by firing their artillery from populated areas. And with all the lies Cambodia has been caught with in the last few months, I'll take your picture of a bit of smoke with a big grain of salt.
  16. Understandable, considering Cambodia's tendency to fire on civilian targets in Thailand.
  17. They've at least been inspired by their tactics. Very evident in Cambodia's usage of human shields and turning temple areas into military bases.
  18. The video is fake. They've tried to blur the watermark from Sora (AI service that generates videos), but it's there.
  19. "Initially presented with a 17,500 baht bill, they were later informed that the total was 36,000 baht," Sounds like the initial bill was for 1 person.
  20. The ICJ has only ruled on Preah Vihear and its immediate surrounding area, not any of the territory that is in dispute now.
  21. Sounds like the common denominator is you.
  22. Leave it to foreigners in Thailand to think that the world, or Thailand, revolves around them.
  23. Nope, on military targets, like artillery firing on civilian targets in Thailand. It's regrettable that a couple of Cambodian civilians got caught in Thailand's response fire, but that's what happens when you use human shields, which Cambodia has been caught doing. White phosphorous is used by many armies in the world and there are no indications that Thailand's use wasn't in accordance with international law, and cluster munitions are legal as long as the country using them hasn't signed the treaty banning them, which neither Cambodia nor Thailand has. You're comparing literal war crimes with common military practices that don't breach any rules or laws.
