  1. Is anyone really astonished by this news from the puppet master? Typical behavior of a clueless person. Reminds me of our secretary who pushed the "Send" button accidently while writing an email and was doing everything possible and impossible to stop the email, not realizing that at that time it was not possible to stop an email once you pressed the "Send" button. To be fair, there soo much headless monkeys in the Government that they make the Muppet show ridiculous.
  2. Every Saturday I can see a Farang with his wife at the local pub and his wife is not even allowed to go alone to the bathroom. The whole night, he holds his wife by the hand and she is not even allowed to ask a for a drink. Thai jealous man? No need to look far to find the same behavior in Farang man.
  3. Me thinks he was not wearing his mask to protect him .....
  4. As soon as the files are lifted, tourists will return to Thailand. This was proven a few months ago. So, stop with the usual words that this will be the end. Too many old farangs wanting a kiddy woman at the price of a hot-dog. Not counting the freaks who want 2 ladybous.
  5. Expect this whole thing to be reversed in a few days and the Thai government "Wai" their sorry for this decision. Everything will be back to normal by the end of the month and tourism will be blooming again. Followed in February by mass infection world wide due to the Thai and the tourists being exposed to the infected "....." Chinese ".....". History repeating itself again.
  6. To level the criticism here, almost every coutry in the world allow their own citizens to enter their country without restrictions. This is not a Thai only rule. In 2021, at the height of the COVID infections, I asked if it was possible to return to my home country whilst I was living in a country which was "RED" marked and I got the response that "own citizens are always allowed to ge back to their own country".
  7. No words for this disgusting behavior from the Thai Government. Putting again the lives of their citizens in danger for their Chinese Masters. Thailand at his worst.
  8. The REALITY is a little bit different in Thailand. Mr "x" is a property developper who admitted the crime and showed public remorse of his actions. So, expect him to roam the streets again in a few weeks (assuming that he would be jailed). TIT
  9. My girlfriend will be shortly come to visit me in Thailand. If we would decide to make a trip to my home country, does she need to first fly back to the Philipines to ask for a Schengen Visa or can she apply for a Schengen Visa in Thailand? To clarify, my girlfriend has her residency at the Philippines.
  10. If we make a new subscription (because the email address didn't pass the filter), will all of our existing membership will lost? Ain't it much simplier to allow an existing member to change his email address without losing his exsiting data?
  11. "Non-Thai passengers arriving from countries which refuse entry to infected people must have taken out COVID insurance, valid throughout their stay in Thailand plus seven days, before their departure for Thailand. " Which are the countries which refuse entry to infected people?
  12. Since half December last year, I didn't receive the daily overview of the news items in my email. What can be the reason of this?
  13. This remembers my Marriage Visa extension many years ago. After my marriage, we went to the Immigration Office to do the Marriage Visa extension. Everything was fine, until the point where the IO called my wife to answer a few questions in a separate room. About 15 minutes later, they came out that room and said that my Visa extension was refused. As we left the Immigration office, I asked my wife what she said to the IO to refuse my Visa extension. Her answer was that she told that I was not giving her money to support her family and relatives. I left her where she was, went to Khon Kaen to change my Marriage Visa to a Retirement Visa and filed for a divorce.
  14. Looking at the damage of the car, he was not driving at 60km/hr (city speed).
  15. What does the VOLTAGE (tension) has to do with the death of a person? An answer from another self-appointed chief engineer at Thaivisa? A person can touch wires with 10.000 V and hardly feel more than a little chill if ihe power flow i beneath 0.03 Amps. But if the POWER FLOW is higher as 0,03 Amp, electrocution will happen. Touching a 12 volt wire with a power pf 0.3 Amp can kill you.
  16. How long does it take for a single Philippina woman (living in the Philippines) to get a passport and a Visa (Schengen) and what will the costs be. The Philippina works currently as a nurse in a hospital. Is the process quicker/cheaper if the same Philipina is married and will apply for a "spouse" visa?
  17. "No money, No honey". Read: "If there is no money involved for the police, nothing will be done on your case." Signed: "Royal Thai Police"
  18. Mostly, a sticker is placed over the label so that reading the label is impossible.
  19. If you read the reviews on the sellers in Lazada/Shopee/etc., you will see that many people are not satisfied with theor delivery. 1 wrong delivery is enough for me to stop buying at these "Cowboy" business. When I order a trouser and specify very clearly that I have size XXL, and the seller is claiming that he will ship a trouser in size XXL, then I expect to receive a trouser XXL and not a trouser size F. And about the delivery companies, many stories can be read here and in other forums about delivering packages which has not been ordered, problems with payments (what this thread is about) and other problems. They have become a monkey business wthout proper control. For me, when I need a trouser, I will be more than happy to go to a local shop, chose the size and color I WANT, test it and pay at the shop.
  20. You are correct on the equation which was erroneous. The correct equation should be: 75/21=~3
  21. Well, you are a lucky guy Most of the people are complaining about these companies and their delivery companies.
  22. Not if you receive what you ordered and in good condition.
  23. Since about a year, I try to filter my purchases of food as careful as possible. But I get confused by reading the labels (in Thai). As an example, I took the packing of a box of Danish cookies and look at the 3 labels on the same box, The box contains 15 little pacs of 5 cookies each. The important for me is the amount of Sugars (น้ำตาล). The label gives for Sugars a total amount per serving (5 pieces at 34 gram) of 10 gram. See figure: 1.jpg A second label, gives the MAIN INGREDIENTS. I gues that they want to give the % of ingredients to make 75 cookies. Here, the amount of Sugar is 21%. 75 / 12 = 6.25% per cookie. See figure: 2.jpg Finally, looking at the labels which are printed on most alimentation products, the amount of Sugar is 150 gram for a pack (15 packs). 150 / 15 = 10% per cookie See figure: 3.jpg 3 different figures on 1 package of cookies. What am I missing here?
