Air purifier again!
Most likely the fan inside the laser sensor unit, its a well known issue. People report fixing it with taking the sensor unit apart and giving the fan a squirt of WD40. I just ordered one - Air Purifier PM2.5 Laser Sensor for Xiaomi Air Purifier pro H /MAX /3c/3H /pro parts replacement. I ordered it on Aliexpress but check Lazada and Shopee probably there to. Theres also youtube videos showing how to fix or replace.

External Hard Drive.
I got a couple of new external m2 SSD's a while ago and couldnt get them to work, I could see them in disk manager but could not progress from there. I ended up using a program called EaseUS, super simple and fixed them, in my case it was essentially a basic format of the disk which disk manager for whatever reason wouldnt allow me to do. I know your issue is slightly different but this program might help, as it could see and change the ssd properties.

For Aussies: Alternative Australian Share Brokers to Commsec
Im a non resident for tax purposes, the bank automatically deducts 10% tax on interest, I only invest in companies that pay fully franked dividends so Australian tax is paid by the company and I have an income stream from Australian Suuper so essentially tax free. When the banks ask me, I tell them Im a non resident and dont have a tax number in Thailand as Im retired, that seeems to satisfy them. Also as a non tax resident if I make a capital gain in my asx listed shares, its tax free as a non resident for tax purposes theres no capital gains tax. When I left Australia more than a decade ago my accountant informed the tax office, I think 2 times the ATO contacted my saying I owed some money, a few hundred dollars, so banks + ATO know exactly my situation this setup works well for me. My only issue is Commsec banned me from buying stocks, I contacted a few brokers / trading platforms but I cant find a Chess option that will accept a non resident.

Start Up Problem With My Laptop.
A,I suggests the following. Steps to Solve the Laptop Login Problem Check for Basic Input Issues Keyboard Settings: Verify that the keyboard language and layout are correct. A wrong keyboard setting (e.g., US vs. UK layout) can cause symbols or letters to input incorrectly. Check this in the Windows login screen by clicking the language icon (bottom-left corner) and ensuring it matches your usual settings. Caps Lock and Case Sensitivity: Security answers may be case-sensitive. For example, "Edna" vs. "edna" could cause a failure. Test by typing answers in Notepad on another device to confirm correct spelling and case. Network Dependency: The thread suggests the security questions may be linked to a Microsoft account in the cloud. Try disconnecting from the internet (disable Wi-Fi or unplug Ethernet) and attempt to log in using the PIN or a local account password, if available. Verify Microsoft Account Details Access Microsoft Account Security Page: On another device, go to account.microsoft.com/security and log in with the same Microsoft account used on the backup laptop. If you can log in, you may be able to: Reset or update security questions. Change the password or PIN associated with the account. Use Alternative Verification: If prompted for security questions, look for an option like “I forgot the answer” or “Use a different verification method” (e.g., email or phone number linked to the account). This can bypass the security questions. Avoid Repeated Guesses: As noted in the thread, too many incorrect attempts may temporarily lock the account. Wait a few hours if you suspect this has happened. Bypass PIN with Local Account (if applicable) If the laptop was set up with a local account (not a Microsoft account), the security questions might not apply. Try logging in with the local account password instead of the PIN. If you don’t remember the local password, proceed to recovery options below. Reset the PIN or Password From Login Screen: On the login screen, click “I forgot my PIN” (below the PIN entry field). Follow prompts to sign in with your Microsoft account password. If successful, you can set a new PIN. If security questions block this process, use another device to reset the Microsoft account password or PIN via account.microsoft.com. Using Recovery Email/Phone: If you can’t answer security questions, use the recovery email or phone number associated with your Microsoft account to receive a verification code and reset access. Boot into Safe Mode Restart the laptop and boot into Safe Mode to bypass certain login restrictions: Press the power button to restart, then repeatedly press F8, F11, or Esc (depending on your laptop model) to access the boot menu. Select “Safe Mode” or “Safe Mode with Networking.” Attempt to log in. If successful, you can reset the PIN or password from the Settings menu (Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options). If Safe Mode doesn’t help, proceed to recovery options. Perform a System Reset or Reinstall Windows If none of the above work, a clean reinstall of Windows may be necessary, as suggested in the thread. However, this will erase data on the laptop unless backed up. Create a Bootable USB: On another computer, download the Windows Media Creation Tool from microsoft.com. Create a bootable USB drive with Windows 10 or 11. Boot the laptop from the USB by accessing the boot menu (usually F2, F12, Del, or Esc during startup). Follow prompts to reinstall Windows. Choose to keep files if possible, but note that a full reset may be required. Consider Professional Help: If this process seems complex, take the laptop to a computer shop for a reset, as suggested in the thread. Prevent Future Issues Update Security Info: After regaining access, update your Microsoft account security questions, recovery email, and phone number to avoid similar issues. Use a Local Account: As one user (FlorC) suggested, consider using a local account instead of a Microsoft account to avoid cloud-based security prompts. Backup Important Data: Ensure critical files on the backup laptop are synced or backed up to avoid data loss during resets.

For Aussies: Alternative Australian Share Brokers to Commsec
Commsec also stopped my ability to buy, on another thread somewhere it was suggested HSBC are good for non residents, but you need to call them as the online application says you need to be in Australia. At lease thats what the poster said, I haven't called them but need to find something.

CNN Faces Major Layoffs as Mark Thompson Plans Cost-Cutting Shake-Up Amid Ratings Slump
Rogan Trump interview has almost 50 million views on YouTube and 23 million on X. CNN 5 million on election night. The left wing MSM have pushed their viewer base off their platforms thanks to their political Zealotry, outright distortions and lies. Most people can find a new home on the many social media platforms / podcasts for news and current affairs, left wing MSM have killed their businesses.

Wise Transfers
I'm using my Revolut card to send money to a Wise account, the vendor sent me a message about 7 hours ago telling me she just spoke to wise..... "the Wise credit card systems are down for 2 working days" so assume back online Monday US time. Revolut I've had about 2 months, for me it's working well, transfers from my linked bank account to top up the card take 5 to 10 seconds. I upgraded to a metal card so I can use ATMs with currency exchange fees being free first usd $1,000 then 1% after that each month. ATM fees by the Thai bank about 250 baht. Exchange rates have been good. I use Nord VPN and Nord password manager, with Revolut you get these for free. That and the USD fee free transfers fund the upgrade to the metal card which gives you the higher fee free transfer amount. Also I went for Revolut as I use my brothers Australian address for the card, Wise ask for proof of address which I cant do for Australia as I'm living in Thailand. You also get free Tinder premium, airport lounge access stuff like that but I haven't tried any of that extra stuff.

Internet For Condo
I have 3BB and NT in Pattaya, in terms of speed and reliability over the last 12 months they are about the same. NT is cheaper and I like their office staff for generally being happy and helpful, also their office on Pattaya Tai is not busy most of the time, lots of parking. 3BB phone / support are good.

Jomtien TM30 Requirement
Last week I told the girl at Jomtien I'd done it online, she said "show me" which I couldn't, but feel should would have been OK with a photo. I'd print it all the same, but I now keep a photo and obviously the TM30 slip in my passport.
