Happened to me twice. As others said you will be taken aside and you will get a stamp in passport but won't pay any fine.
-
Thank you for the info.
-
So if someone on a tourist visa goes to do a 30 day extension at CW can he/she just pay the fine and get the extension? Or do you have to pay the fine and do the TM30 right there? What if you don't have the documents from the landord? And what exact document from the landlord are even needed? copy id card (signed), copy lease?
-
So they also issue non o multi entry based on marriage with no financial requirements?
I thought that was only possible in Savannakhet.
-
So would it fix the problem of not having a TM.30 if you did a short trip within Thailand lets say a week before extension. Stay in a hotel one or two nights and then do a TM.30 when you return to your condo/house? Or would you still have to pay a fine or have any problems because you did not report before that?
-
btw did anyone ever report about getting denied flying in Business or First class?
Not sure if that has anything to do with it but i always fly in biz and first and use fast track and only once i was asked a few questions and that was it.
-
So if i would transfer 2000 Euro every month from my European bank account to my bank account in Thailand would that be enough to qualify or does it have to be from a company?

Depends i guess. Normally would be asked to remove the pet.
I've had 2 guinea pigs for 5 years now and security saw them several times and nobody said anything.
A dog would be a problem for sure as it makes noise. My friend has 2 cats also nobody said anything.
So it depends ?
Something to consider is how much it Sucks to get attached to a pet and then have to get rid of it.

I've always used Kota Bharu in Northern Malaysia. Drop off your passport and your documents in the morning, and its ready the following afternoon. They are closed Friday and Saturdays and always worth checking for public holidays as well. KL is a nightmare compared to KB.
This is for a Multi entry Non-O based on marriage?
-
Well i am not Australian and Canberra is a bit far away but thanks for the info.
I just emailed the Thai consulate in Hong Kong so hopefully they are as responsive as the one in Canberra.
-
So for a Multi entry non-o Savannakhet and HCMC are more or less a sure thing?
Any recent reports of someone successfully getting a Non-O multi based on marriage in Hong Kong in the last few months?
Could take my kid to Disneyland next month and in the meantime get the visa.
As far as financial proof is a copy of my Bangkok bank's bank book enough or is more needed?
-
I was wondering where in the region would be the best and easiest to get a Non-O visa based on marriage. Preferably multi entry.
I know there is Savannakhet but seems like a hassle to go there and i would prefer some place i can make a holiday out of it.
What is the situation in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Hong Kong? I don't mind staying 2-3 nights and also do have a bank account in Thailand with more then 400k THB if i need to show that.
The thread with "latest" visa experiences doesn't seem to be updated anymore so thought i'll start a new thread.
Thanks in advance.

I was on overstay for about 4 hours when i handed in my passport to the immigration officer at the airport just 2 days ago.
Nothing really just stamped the passport and said please follow me and led me another officer who wrote in my passport i overstayed less then 24 hours and that was it.
No fine.

My close friend has a CX-5 and raves about it.
But thats in another country , where services cost 15,000 baht and , as long as you continue to service with the manufacturers outlets ( at sometimes outrageous cost ) , the warranty IS honoured.
BTW - surely the BMW costs a lot more ?
:D
Yeah the BMW does come with a 5 year full service package so no costs for the first 5 years of service.

Funny how just 2 days ago i went to BMW and Honda as we are interested in the new CR-V or maybe X1 and also went across the street to see the Mazda CX-5 and overall liked the Mazda design more then CR-V but the salesman was in a suit and barefoot in flip flops and that kinda made me already think about how future service might be after coming from a very professional BMW dealer and test driving there lol But after reading this now i think i made up my mind not to look any more into the CX-5 at all. Was a flip anyway between which one to choose.

Indeed you should not invest in something you don't understand. Definitely research before investing.
Bitcoins are all the same value. My bitcoin is the same value as your bitcoin. There are of course differences in prices on exchanges just like changing USD to THB at different banks or exchange places. Market drives the value and so far it has been very favorable and i believe should be for a few more years. Short term might drop because of China ban on exchanges but long term the value should climb by a lot.
I guess you mean different crypto currencies values as Bitcoin is only one and all bitcoins are equal in value. There are indeed a lot of different cryptos and a lot are not worth much really. The market currently is growing so everyone wants in and think if they buy the cheap ones they have a better chance of making 10x/50x/100x/1000x on their investment which for most probably is not true. Everyone should research the crypto currency they want to invest in and see if there is long term value in it.

Who ensures the bona fides of a cryptocurrency deposit or withdrawal?
Every computer in the network updates it's copy of the blockchain with new transactions.
Research it a bit if really interested and not just trolling.
Anyone looking to easily buy Bitcoin in Thailand i can recommend coins.co.th You can buy small amounts over your bank account or a cash deposit machine whenever you want without much hassle. You can also use your BTC to pay almost all your bills (phone,internet,power...).

As is your bank balance.
TM30 on a TV extension in BKK
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
So lets say you check into a hotel for a staycation day before you need to do the 30/60 day extension? check out day of the extension or one day after.
TM30 problem solved and timed saved at immigration?
