NOT. EasyNet is toast and so is all your banking history, unless you made a screen capture of all of the details which you had recorded. For me that is 25 years of customers (tenants) Merchants, etc etc. I confirmed this by phone with Head Office and had my branch manager re-confirm, by phoning them again, whilst I was in his office. This is the biggest online banking cluster<deleted> I have experienced since 1992, when I opened my first SCB account.

My bad. For Easynet , which is the desktop version please read SCB Easy, which is the phone app, and what I was referring to.

You still don't get it do you. SBC Easy-net is a separate account.  you do NOT GET AN ATM CARD to make withdraws from it or a normal bank book. YOU must do every transaction online or using an app if you want to withdraw, transfer, or deposit.

Wrong. SCB EasyNet is an online access app for your SCB bank account(s), and you can register any or all af these on the app. You can also have an online account, which pays interest, but does not have any physical book or card. You can transfer to and from that account electronically ..I am not sure whether you can use cardless ATM withdrawal, I never tried... but so far as I know you can not have an online only account unless you already hold at least one "normal" physical account.

still does snot resolve the question of how, in your example, someone could make hard copies of the screen capture (assumming that option is not going to be taken away). I will just switch banks. To heck with SCB, I have  been with them since 1994. It's time to move on.

Printing from the phone is not difficult, if you have a wi-fi printer. I use Brother I-print and scan app on Android and ipad. Works a treat, so long as  both printer and phone are using the same wi-fi. For scb, just remember to set the paper size to A6 or less, unless you want to output a table mat!

The scb app gives a share option for the payment slip, use that to access the print app.

  4. A salutary story, only very slightly off topic:-

Some several years ago in UK I bought a colour laser printer for business use. It was a Brother, and spectacularly cheap! It ran for about a year, with heavy use, with no problems, until it ran out of toner. This thing has four enormous toner cartridges, one for each colour, and they cost, then, £90 each! The printer only cost £700!

Run on another year, and we need another set of toner. I saw advertised a DIY toner refill kit, for about £20. Ordered it, delivered no problem, opened the package, and did what no-one ever does: read the instructions!

"1. Before attempting to refill a cartridge, check its weight. DO NOT attempt to refill if it weighs more than xx grams. The printer will start to show empty when there is still 60gms remaining. Wait until the print quality is affected before refilling."

A full load of toner is about 160gms, so every time you change cartridges when the printer tells you to, you are throwing away ⅓ of your toner!

If you refill your own too early, you will overload the cartridge.

The printer ran for another 4 months before I needed to refill the black, the colours ran for more than a year!

I’m in Pattaya and just broke my old HP1006 black and white laser printer.  I definitely need a new one, not colour, very much prefer HP, INEXPENSIVE, wifi would be nice, available right away, low volume printing, my laptop is Win 11.  In 18+ years I had a P1005 before the P1006; both reliable and affordable. I checked the JIB site and it seems they only have office hp printers. I’m checking the Lazada site and am overwhelmed and worried about delivery time. Lazada shows model 107W that looks good.

What model do you suggest and where in Pattaya will I find it?

Just bought a bottom end Brother from OfficeMate at Pattaya Thai, they had an HP similar size and specs, only slightly more expensive, but I hate HP products and policies. HP consumables are MUCH more expensive than Brother, both are cheaper online from Lazada, but  the actual printers same price. I bought a wired one, the wifi version was only slightly more.

That is a rather interesting complaint as of the 3 ball-peen hammers I have it is the lightest that has had the most use over the years (as you can see) so I would consider it a good thing.

as you may note I have a seriously heavy one if I need it

So YOU are the one who borrowed my hammers............!

Anti-acid isn't a cure for the underlying problem, it just masks it.

    At last a credible answer!

Ido not claim to have a cure, but I suffered acid reflux for years, and like the rest of you, swallowed ant-acids, gaviscom, etc. etc., all of which helped a bit, for a short time.

I then read somewhere...and I can't give a reference, but it was a credible source at the time... that the problem with acid indigestion and acid reflux was not excess acid, but insufficient. The treatment suggested was, drink a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice, diluted to a semi-palatable quantity, as soon as the symptoms appear.

For me, at least, it works every time. If I am in a situation where I do not have access to the cure..... I suffer., and antacids might give some relief, but very temporary.

I do however recommend medical investigation to eliminate the major risks.

  8. I will not comment on diagnosis or treatment for your problem, it's all been said above. I will however recommend Shokz bone conduction headphones. Slightly expensive, but they do not go in the ear, but conduct sound through the bone, and very comfortable once you are used to them. They do not isolate you from your environment.

Type of Cockroach? Maybe German Cockroach? You can buy killer. Looks like a disc about 50mm in diameter. Used to sell in Lotus. But if bad infestation, you might be better getting a professional exterminator in such as Rentokil

Unlikely to be the German Cockroach, it rarely visits Thailand, and certainly not a condo.

Appreciate the direction but I'm in Bangkok. Zenni has nothing for me.

See my previous post re Tom Optical in Chonburi, even though you live in BKK, it is worth the trip and they will EMS the specs back, you will still be well ahead on points!

If I was to show articles like these to people in the UK,  they would just look at me like I was a complete idiot.

Never ever seen such a ' rotten to the core ' alleged legitimate Police force where the majority don't even know the law or how to apply it.

The whole system needs scrapping and starting again from scratch.

Corruption starts at the highest levels of government and law and order and filters right down to the fruit sellers in the streets.

Since the database is probably run on pirated copies of Windows 98, albeit in the process of being updated to Windows 7 by the resident IT consultant, a Police Generals 17 year old nephew, it probably doesn't work anyway!

The backup paper files will be printed on the reverse of old passport photocopies, and occupy a massive wharehouse just outside Bangkok.

In the words of Flanders and Swan: "it all makes work for the working man to do!"

"wharehouse" do you mean warehouse, or whorehouse? Just for clarity, you understand  555.
