  1. I didn't know that AZ supply their vaccine on a 'not for profit'. You might be right, in that case, nobody can get a booster dose of AZ if the government doesn't allow it.
  2. I see more Americans than British or Russians in Thailand, why aren't they in the top 5?
  3. Is it in a standardized format on the inside pages? I haven't got any other vaccine passport before. The most important is the watermarks on every page which makes it more difficult to forge.
  4. I am in Chiang Mai (not Bangkok) and have seen a few people who did have a choice. It's already mentioned in the Chiang Mai subforum that you can't have a third Pfizer jab if you previously have vaccination before. There are still many Thai who still haven't got their first or second shot.
  5. Vaccine passports are more difficult to forge because it has those watermarks on every internal page that the certs don't have. It's just like our ordinary passports is difficult to forge but not impossible because it also has those watermarks.
  6. The Thai government won't give you a second AZ for free because everyone is allocated two shots (except for those medical personnel). The only way is to pay for it via private hospitals. You should have requested for AZ + AZ when they had the shots before. I have seen people getting Sinovac + Sinovac, AZ + AZ when they made a special request.
  7. The vaccine certificate used by USA is even easier to forge than the Thai one. I could just ask my printing company to print thousands of these cards and just handwrite on it. There isn't even a QR code. Why wasn't a vaccine passport issued in the USA?
  8. Australia isn't on good terms with China too but Australia just approved Sinovac for entry.
  9. It was never explained why we need a vaccine passport when the same information was already in the vaccine certificate issued after the jabs.
  10. Australia has already approved Sinovac recently. It's a matter of time before these vaccines are also approved in UK, if you are not in a hurry to go back, that is.
  11. There is the main office near Chiang Mai university at the intersection of Nimman road and Suthep road. It is right at the corner, you can't miss it. It is called Chiang Mai Public Health Office.
  12. If Thailand's figure falls below 1000 daily cases, then it will be considered safe.
  13. This is true for normal vaccines but Pfizer require very low temperature to store , or else it will be ineffective because rna is unstable. How many hours can the vaccine remain stable once it is taken out of the special fridge in Thailand's hot weather?
  14. Johnson & J use the same technology as Astrazeneca. It's not considered traditional like inactivated virus. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/health/johnson-johnson-covid-19-vaccine.html
  15. Were the Thai friends vaccinated with two shots?

    Thai Food - ?

Thai food is just Chinese food enhanced with Indian spices with the many curries. Fried rice, chicken rice, noodles, Jok are all Chinese food. If you like Chinese food and Indian food, you should also like Thai food except for the raw ones like Som Tam.
  17. How serious is the symptoms? Does she need oxygen tank?
  18. I don't think all countries (except maybe the English and French speaking countries) actually recognize the WHO vaccine passport because it's only in two languages It's just like even though some Covid vaccines were approved by WHO, but they were not accepted by some countries.
  19. I wonder what 'full force of law' for attempted rape means? How many years in prison?
  20. Why not just remove visa exempt and just charge tourist visa fee for every tourist? Some countries are exempted from paying anything if they stay for 1 month.
  21. What is this WHO vaccine passport?
  22. For those who want to travel outside Thailand and then come back into Thailand again, you need a vaccine passport. The processing time is 5 working days so don't wait until the last moment. The main office is at the intersection between Nimman Road and Suan Dok hospital. There's another smaller office opposite Suriwong book shop near Pantip Plaza but the main office is much better. I took a snapshot of the requirements today.
