We get a lot of conflicting information. Possibly the hospitals will be supplied by the government as an Intermediary.
Before their own citizens have been vaccinated ... can't see it.

BTW just recently we got a very helpful first hand report about registering for possible future Moderna jabs at Pattaya Memorial.
That's the kind of thing that is the point of this thread.
Not sure how it can be helpful, when Moderna have been quoted saying the do not supply hospitals.

No date of when the vaccines will arrive, but the Indoor Stadium is all set up ready for their arrival.

All I ever hear when it comes to vaccinations is Thais & Expats.
A forgotten group is all the migrant workers from neighbouring countries.
Nobody is safe until we are all safe.

I suspect that may be why so few people are posting recently, so many rockets lurking out there. People go to a bit of effort to post reviews, photos and opinions and these rockets contribute jack, just stick boot in. Rant over.
Not sure about that.
If there is a lack of posts, then its probably down to how many get removed for various inconsistent and spurious infractions.

The failed Elephant Bar
Bit harsh, Rabbi's seemed successful enough, until he became ill and had to return home.

The problem, as was demonstrate in Chile not long ago (using the same vaccine) is that people don't think it's "50/50". They assume that once they have the 2nd jab that they are immune and no longer have to worry about things like masks and social distancing.King’s estimates the current risk of a Covid-19 infection for the unvaccinated is one in 46,855, falling to 1 in 97,616 after the first dose, and 1 in 167,341 after the second dose.

can nurses administer vaccinations in Thailand?
Yes, as it was a nurse that administered my rabies jabs at Pattaya City Hospital.

Never asked the price
Price will be set by the Government, not the Hospitals.

During the last lockdown they actually taped off the beach, which they have not done this time ... yet.
Walking the beach is okay, but swimming in the sea i seemingly high risk ... go figure.

They did allow unvaccinated people to enter......from all countries.
I have not found numbers of vaccinations there and there certainly is a vaccination program, using the SINOPHARM (China) and COVISHIELD (Indian made Astra Zenica). You should look to numbers coming out of a much larger sample from Israel claiming over 95% effective for Pfizer.
Seychelles is said to be the most vaccinated country in the World.

I see Tims on 2nd Road has been gutted.

So... Does it matter (that everyone is vaccinated)... It depends if you care about society.
My point was the Seychelles going back into lockdown, which is really not good for a society.

Looking at the situation in the Seychelles today, does it matter?

The main reason, however, is to prevent the spread of the virus in the community. I.e. to stop me getting the virus and passing it on to a thousand Thais.
Vaccine does not stop you passing the virus onto others, well that is what we kept getting told.

Don't see where it says it refutes what Moderna said last week that they do not sell to hospitals.
