  1. You are fine, until the sun starts to set.
  2. There was me, thinking this was a "review" thread 🤔
  3. Actually, far likely to happen back then, than nowadays.
  4. Naklua has the best Seafood Restaurants. Jomtien ones are especially over rated, especially Poo Pen.
  5. I just give them a random email address every time.
  6. Insult? I think replying that "I doubt it" to whether a restaurant, that you know nothing about, is open or not, is pretty insulting to the owner of this wonderful restaurant. And lets be honest, you have a past record of such behaviour. Cue deflection, name calling, and the playing of the victim card. 🙄
  7. @Jim Blue I admit I have not eaten there in years, but yes it was still open the last time I came past.
  8. Why would it be bad, heading OUT of town?
  9. Chon Buri: Khao Lam Mae Khai Toon Klao, a dessert stall serving classic sweetened sticky rice in the traditional way – cooked in bamboo with fresh coconut milk – for over 60 years, with options of original white or aromatic black sticky rice, garnished with taro, black beans, or ginkgo nuts; Krua Laew Tae R-Rom, a restaurant with a limited menu that randomly opens and closes depending on the catch of the day, but excels in seafood, Thai food, and home-made curries with bold, rich flavors – offering dishes made from ultra-fresh crab, shrimp, clams and fish at reasonable prices; La Voi, a restaurant that uses premium beef to prepare the broth and toppings, for its recommended mixed beef soup, which comes with a variety of beef toppings, including meatballs, different cuts of beef, and beef organs; Lung Shall Kitchen, a hidden-gem restaurant with an intimate atmosphere that serves food in its most authentic form thanks to skillfully prepared fresh ingredients; Pladids, an eatery serving a Thai samrap (set menu) including jasmine rice cooked with Thai wild almond, with home-style, local quality, and interesting seasonal menu options - each boasting complex yet balanced flavors. 10. In Pattaya, Mikes Shopping Mall, 1st or 2nd floor, forget which one now, since he moved. Or the Buffalo Market, on Thepprasit Road.
  11. No, but I knew Ron. Not seen him in a while.
  12. More to do with the Sign Police than anything else.
  13. Central Department Store.
  14. Again? 🤨
  15. I miss Popeyes from when they were in Pattaya. Yes, Wendys in BKK, and also Arbys in Patpong is much missed.
  16. Just another in the long line of American Fast Food businesses that have came and gone.
