This morning I had another very nice "full English" at Retox. The black pudding is now on request only, as many
wimpsnon-Brits did not like it. Just ask and you shall receive. This breakfast is good value at the usual 99B but earlier today it was entirely free to all.
And that is no April Fool.
Already posted on page 290.
I decided to give the staff the cost of our breakfasts as a tip.
Do you think Jingthing has ever had a Retox 99 baht Bahtbuster ?

Every time I go to Retox now I never get black pudding. Do you have to ask for it or something?
Yes, so many people just leave the black pudding on their plate, that they stopped serving it unless you ask for it.
Its understandable I suppose.

I've had the pho there, and it's not nearly as good as Mr. Nam's as well as only being available on weekends if I recall correctly.

Numchai electrical hardware shop Naklua, not the shop on the corner selling TV's, or walk up Soi Sawangfahfrom Naklua road and there are multiple small electric hardware shops, Alternatively similar shops on Thepprasit.
Yes, thinking about it, NamChai on the Sukhumvit is good for stuff like this.
Go to the service center behind the store, and ask there.

Indian street snack food. Not rare here in restaurants. Especially pav bhaji. Just Google.
Oh well, should not have bothered then.

I pass there regularly (including early this afternoon) and have never seen it, so I'd say yes, it's new.
I have not a clue what that is they are selling but I was sure it would be right up Jingthings Soi.

Yet, only a couple of months ago, Bangkok Bank staff were in Sugarbaby a GoGo assisting any person who wanted to open a bank account, there on the night.

Just a follow up to what happened in the end.
Crossed the Sukhumvit at Pattaya Tai, and was told by a White Baht Bus Driver that I would be better taking the Rayong Minibus that was also sitting there.
Minibus dropped us off at the entrance to the Stadium for a 50 baht fare.
Took the advice of everyone that the return journey would be difficult, and on the advice of a Pattaya Taxi Driver I know, booked a local Taxi Driver to take us back to Pattaya for 500 baht, compared to the 1000 baht any Pattaya Taxi wanted, which was well worth the money.
Would have no problem doing it this way again.
Thanks for all the advice.

Looked like there was many like you.
Compared to past years, I thought attendance was well down.

Certain by that time no go. You could stay the night perhaps . It’s not an easy place to get cabs either. Yellow baht bus runs go that way and pass hospital so that would be the one you need from Sattahip but on return definitely not at that time.
But if I can get myself to Sattahip Town Centre, then I could still get a White Baht Bus back to Pattaya ?

If you go to Sattahip in the White songthaew, you should not have too much trouble working out how to continue the journey, as there are not that many options.
Any thoughts on the return journey around 8.30pm ?
What time do the White Baht Buses stop running ?

The white sonthaew only go as far as the town centre in Sattahip. From there you will need to know which one to change to in order to complete that journey.
Thanks.
I did wonder if this was the case in that they only run as far as town centre, but did not realise I could then take another one further south.
Also now wondering if it would be best to just board a Rayong bound bus on the Sukhumvit, and tell the driver I want to get off at Navy Stadium (Kilo Haa) ?
