Great, the current place has poor parking.
Well, that is not going to improve in the new location.

So, its still going to be, dependant on what Immigration Office you use then.

No. Do you?
Yes, and I have enough experience to take what Pattaya Business Operators tell me, with a pinch of salt.

So based on the above hostile response I'm going to assume that Saar Der was the same place you've been recommending
Sigh .... No!

Sigh .... go back and read what I said.

Its not true that I am never sure about restaurants locations.
It's not true that I'm not open to other people's suggestions. On the contrary I am very open to them.
Well, obviously this page shows different.
You seem to far enjoy starting spats with people that you may learn something from nowadays IMO.

OK, you win.
BTW, I got a Grab Delivery from another Vietnamese place I think on Pattaya Tai (isn't that the one you've recommended?).
Anyway, I wasn't impressed.
As usual, you are never quite sure where places are, or its a think, maybe, etc etc.
And of course, if its a recommendation from anyone else, you would never be impressed anyway.
Win? .... no one wins with the closure of Pho Mr.Nam.

But it would need someone who lived in Pattaya 25-30 or more years ago to confirm either way.
So, you have no idea even how long the Pig & Whistle was in that location?

Pho Mr. Nam the Vietnamese Pho shop on Thappraya has just announced on Facebook that he is closing shop mid August.
Not Surprised, obvious what was going to happen from the day he opened in that location, with that attitude.

I suspect that the sale/closing if both Stake & Co and the rib joint is a consequence of the changing face of Pattaya
What closing?

This used to be discussed back in the day almost weekly in The Trink Page.
If I remember right, the advice was Conditioner + ?
I am sure it was hair conditioner with something else added?
http://coolmenshair.com/how-to-shave-beard-using-hair-conditioner/
It is important to choose the right conditioner for shaving your beard. The best option would be a conditioner formulated for dry or very dry hair since this contains more silicone that can soften the skin and hair. You can prepare the skin and beard hair by washing it with warm water first. Putting a warm towel over the area and letting it stay for five minutes can give you the same effect as well. Next, apply hair conditioner on to the beard and massage into the skin. Use a smooth, massaging motion to help the conditioner get down on to the skin and allow it to sit for 3 minutes. For a smooth shave, use a generous amount of it.

I could be wrong, but I believe the second hand book shops in Pattaya have closed.
Cantebury Tales is still open, although not sure if they buy or just swap.

Strangers talking on the baht buses WAR alert.
While strongly discouraging a political debate on THIS thread (the thread is about encounters on baht buses, that is the topic) it's hard to not notice that the USA and Iran may be on the brink of war.
We have Americans and Iranians in Pattaya, tourists and residents.
While of course people of these nationalies have divergent political views (over things like whether they support their OWN governments, much less a war), potential tension on baht buses may be magnified during crisis times such as these.
So I'm posting this as something to be aware of, something to watch out for.
I guess you were not in Pattaya during the Gulf War then?

That Thai Cash & Carry type place on Soi Photisan Soi 4.

Don't remember it ever being called the Village.
Trink used to call it The Strip, but we just knew it as South Pattaya.

Contact been made between the two of them, and a meeting is arranged for tomorrow.

(There appear to be two threads running on this. I have already posted this on the other one.)
I feel really sorry for the guy because he is innocent!
Look at the video ON A BIG SCREEN from the 10 second mark. He drops a note, which blows forward to where the woman was standing. Rather than chase after it, he waited for the woman to move away, then put his foot on it, and later picked it up.
The only reason we are seeing this video is because the Thai Lady went back to Friendship looking for her money.

Visited Central Marina the other day and was saddened by the demise of Texas Chicken. Not that I go often but it was a treat for me once a month. Place was getting busier over time. Guess Thai prefer their KFC.
Anyone know of another Texas Chicken in Pattaya?
