Can't see much changing for the plastic tray with foil covered micro wave meal and a narrow seat. An exceptional flying experience would be business facilities for economy prices... or maybe they will introduce "standing" on domestic routes.

What you look for in a massage ?
Krabi King replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Just like what had been said before, no talking/noise, no people chatting on their phones and preferably no airconditioning. A therapist that can adjust to your preferred strength. Most of the time I take a combo of Thai and oil. An hour is definitely too short, so mostly 90+ minutes. And I agree that the older ladies are usually the best. We had a pretty unique massage place open up in Krabi recently. It's situated in a tropical garden and everybody has their own bamboo hut with fans and light and orivacy curtains. Very quiet, some very soft background music and the natural sounds of birds and crickets. It's called Nature Garden Massage, just outside of Ao Nang. Everything there has been great every time. -
Thailand now second biggest producer of Bio plastics
Krabi King replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Regular plastic and styro foam is cheaper. That is why you still see it so much being used. For local sellers it is mostly about costs, not so much about the environment unfortunately. -
Thai health officials worried about growing number of fat kids
Krabi King replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The schools in our neighborhood all have a 7/11 across the street. In addition to that there's soda carts, processed meat carts and ice cream carts right outside the school's gate. There are no healthy options at all. Don't blame the kids for making bad choices when there's nothing else. -
I've been renting out a pool villa for the last 8 years through Airbnb and other platforms. With a license it is not illegal. However, I think condos are a different story because of possible disturbance to other owners in the building. Still many condos being rented out on Airbnb in Bangkok. In the end, driving without a helmet in Thailand is also illegal...

Very simple setup, not so simple
Krabi King replied to Krabi King's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
That is pretty clear as cake. For someone with limited knowledge I actually do understand what to aim for now. And indeed, the option for a 12v fan could make things way easier. A bit the direction that was already mentioned by @Denim More things to consider... Thanks! -

Looking into that as well... Thank you. Although would prefer to get this set properly working if possible. -
Hi, We have an outside shed quite a distance away from the house, for which we got sold a solar set from our local electrician shop. We only want to run a fan (60w , 220v) and a light (5w, 12v). Let's say for 8 hours a day. As I did not know anything about solar, I was advised. And now I think not well advised as I start to read more and more. The problem is that after a few hours we run out of power, due to the voltage drop of the battery. So the guy sold us a 60w panel, a 20ah gel battery, charger controller 10 amps and a 1500w inverter. My thoughts are that the inverter is way to heavy. We would never require more than 100w on this system. So does this drain most of the battery? What would be the ideal combo here? The calculators and formulas do my head in ???? Thanks in advance.

You are contradicting yourself. If it is law, it will be considered fact. Plus you show here yourself that Airbnb itself is not illegal, while you said it is. A bit of nuance needs to be added when making a brief statement like you did. “The Hua Hin ruling has made it clear that short-term renting on a daily or weekly basis to tourists is illegal,” says Chris Potranandana, a partner at the law firm Strathmore Litigation and Asset Management. “To make it legal, the hosts need to have a Hotel License.” Source: https://bk.asia-city.com/city-living/news/heres-what-airbnb-ban-really-means-bangkok/

Airbnb is not illegal in Thailand. Also not illegal to rent per night. It all depends where you do your fact checking. Reminds me of some global thing we had recently... Fact: I rent out a property for years already, PER NIGHT. I report to immigration by app and I have a license from the authorities. They came by and checked the house. A year or so ago Airbnb has held online seminars for Thailand hosts. It's all possible. You just need to have your place registered and pay tax. These are true facts.

PM Prayut tells officials to prevent violations of emergency decree
Krabi King replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I hope Prayuth also tells officials to prevent violations of human rights... like killing a suspect in custody for example...
