  1. So Thailand legalised Weed in order to boost tourism and is now flip=flopping on that. It now proposes to legalise casinos for the same reason. I wonder how long before this too is flip-flopped. Will it be 1 month, six months or one year or even longer? The Book is now open. Place your (hypothetical) bets ladies and gentlemen.
  2. At B300k not as cheap as it was, apparently.
  3. Obtention of a "Fit to Fly" certificate is guaranteed for all who provide the required B.E. (T.I.T.)
  4. From the pic it looks more like blobs than a spike?
  5. Please note - Muslim men only - what does that say? Many of these people show no sign of wanting to integrate. Instead, surveys suggest that they want to recreate their home culture in the UK. A caliphate is coming. The UK is lost.
  6. Much of the pension money paid by UK government to pensioners resident in the UK is recovered through taxes paid by the pensioners in the UK. These taxes are recovered through a variety of means - Council Tax, VAT, fuel taxes, IPT, taxes on the businesses that pensioners buy from (including supermarkets), etc. These taxes cannot be recovered for non-resident pensioners who therefore cost the government more than resident pensioners, so the government "freezes" these pensions in order to compensate.
  7. A sure-fire success. Perhaps they can use the friendly smiling faces from Soi 6 Security to spearhead their marketing campaign?
  8. Is there any airline which has a less than terrible economy seat?
  9. Wow! Is it Pantomime season again?
  10. As far as I know there are still international flights from Laos. Where does the OP state that he intends to travel by land?
  11. RIP Nirun. Killed over B20. Life is cheap here.
  12. Forget the car as you would have to pay import taxes on it upon arrival. Pack your stuff in packing crates and contact a freight forwarding company who will then arrange the necessary container space for shipping to the destination country in Europe and tell you how to deliver the crates to them. That's what I did when shipping goods from Europe to Florida. You'll still have to pay taxes on what you ship, but will save the taxes and shipping costs for the car.
  13. I also can't help with Perth, but have a number of recent biz class flights on TG to a few destinations. No complaints on the on-board seating or service. I found the new lounge arrangement at MNL (there was previously a TG lounge, but now it's a shared arrangement) to be a little strange and limited and the check-in at PNH can be slow. No issues at BKK or LHR, except for the desperately poor design and operation of LHR T2, but I do not blame TG for that.
  14. Foreigners fit in the Thai hierarchy just beneath cockroaches.
  15. Even a hundred farang deaths would not change the Thai authorities' approach in such cases. Farangs are not important (connected). Nothing to see here, fined B100.
  16. The Ukrainian Front beckons for Romasco?
  17. Now where did I hear that anything that sounds too good to be true is usually a scam? But it's not just the LOS where people fall for such promises. I heard that some guy called Bernie Madeoff with billions...
  18. Probably was texting on his phone. TIT.
  19. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airports/dgt DGT/RPVD Dumaguete City Sibulan Airport 42 flights/week to Manila, 9 flights/week to Cebu.
  20. Seriously? Does that cat look like it's gonna obey ANYBODY'S regulations?
