As the Father named on the child's UK Birth certificate, your permission is required for the child to be issued with a Thai passport. In your place I'd insist on the house being transferred into the child's name as a pre-condition of agreeing to the issue of the Thai passport. You will need a Thai lawyer to ensure that this is done correctly.

Good luck on EVA. Thai's prices are currently far too high, but I flew with EVA Air BKK-LHR only once. At check in in Bangkok they wanted to put me on a different flight via Hong Kong because they had overbooked and upon landing at LHR, as they gave the normal "welcome to London where the time is now....." announcement, the other passengers were apparently so impressed that the Pilot had actually landed at the correct airport that they all applauded! I have used Thai ever since.
