I was there two weeks ago. The food is still good and it is still open 24h. The menu pictured is in fact only part of their full menu. There are also folder type menus with pictures of the food and which contain more dishes, but these are not all the same! The contents, language (some have Thai and English, some are only in Thai) and prices vary, so if you are looking for something not on the standard menu then perhaps consult more than one of the folders and check the prices when ordering.

Plus your flight need not depart before 24:00, it can leave after midnight (so 1am, 2am, etc.), you just need to pass through immigration and be stamped out on or before the date.

A hot engine under water will cool rapidly and the gases inside the crankcases contract, so if the crankcase breather is beneath the surface at this point then water can get into the crankcases and mix with the oil. Depending on how deep the water was, in your place I would do the following (much of which is already advised above):: 1. Drain & replace the oil, including cleaning the oil filter. Ensure that there is no evidence of water remaining in the engine. 2. Remove the carb float chamber and clean the inside with fresh fuel. Replace. 3. Remove the spark plug, kick the engine over with the plug removed to ensure any water is ejected, then replace the plug. 4. If the air intake went under the surface then remove and dry the air filter element, ensure that the air intake is fully dry before replacing. 5, Check that the drain hole in the silencer is not blocked so that any water will have drained out as water in the silencer could make the engine sound strange. If unsure then raise the front of the bike to let any water drain out. 6. Spray all the electrics, liberally, with WD40. 7. Give it time to dry out. Good luck.

Comparing France with Thailand is not comparing like with like. France has been open to travellers for some time - without any need for a "France Pass".Thailand has only dropped its "Thailand Pass" and testing requirements in recent weeks. Obtention of a Thailand Pass was difficult enough for one, but for a family? Plus the risk of just one of your party testing positive and ruining the holiday for all. Who needs that when you just want a holiday? Flights booked close to the departure date in the holiday period are very expensive so most europeans booked their holidays before the Thailand Pass and testing was dropped and so many potential visitors have gone elsewhere this year.
