If I was facing persecution, I wouldnt give a hoot if the next safest country I arrived in had signed a convention of war or not, and I'm sure anyone under genuine persecution would feel the same. What we have here are economic migrants who leg it over multiple safe countries for a taste of the good life. Why dont they leg it to the gulf countries?
