I've had a Click for almost three years now and endorse everything you say about them. I've seen them described on this forum, maybe on this thread, as a 'motorized shopping trolley'. Such a term does not do it justice, even though it is very good in that role. I've often been amazed at how much the wife and I have lugged home from the market on it!

Like you say, great acceleration and a very smooth engine. And very quiet too l. Mine has the combined braking system and once I'd adjusted to one hand braking, I thoroughly recommend it. One always the right hand in full control of the throttle, instead of trying to do two things at once. And you always have the right lever for the front brake in reserve if you need extra bite. Rarely had to use it fortunately.

We have a car now, so no more shopping trips. The Click is now my fun bike and I ride out regularly around the country lanes and the winding roads through the hill range to the south of Sakon Nakhon. I can cruise comfortably at 80kph with occasional forays up to 90 when I know the road surface is good. But I do still enjoy mixing it with city traffic now and then.

It's been very reliable and she runs as well now as the day I bought her.

When they say love is blind, they ain't joking....

It you currently enjoy some socio-economic advantage   that enables you to be with a woman who Is out of your league at home you would be best not flipping the tables against yourself.... It doesn't usually end well

If you're lucky she'll only go with the other guy, if you're unlucky she'll take half your house and  money and STILL go with the other guy

Tell Yourself my darling is not like that, but if she polished your gun she will polish the next one..... And probably the one after that too...

I will try and find Thai law or confirmations of rules with the authorities.  I'll visit the city hall, police stations around town and the transport office for a start.

Please join in and let's try and find the official rule of law.

Probably could be found online in Thai language. Anybody who reads Thai fluently want to take on the project with me?

This will take time ladies and gents. Let this fact finding mission continue......

Or you could just, go get a Thai license and cancel the crusade....

Actually i just got it at the local shop, where i bought the bike. It was one of the options you could get. I believe it was a bit under 500 bt (bought hand guards too) and the total was 1700bt they gave me some discount. Not sure why but that shop never seems to rip me off and always does good work.

If you have the book of the Aerox (the advertisement folder) you can see the hook and order it at the shop.

I'll  order  one from yamaha when I get time

I met a Thai guy once night who told me where to get them (ramkamheng Rd)  but can't remember if he said Soi 24 or 34 or something like that

Last couple of months I've done  4000km and only a few times I've really had so much to carry a hook would have been useful

How would you explain a few years ago in Greece, the citizens were allowed to only withdraw 50 Euro of THEIR OWN MONEY per day from banks?

Something similar happened to in England back in the 60's or 70's...I dont remember when it was. I must also admit, this is going off a story from somebody I had many discussions with and I did not actually research his claim...but I can see it being true.

Just these two things alone made me think "Is my money really safe in the Bank"? Should I maybe store it in a safe, but there I remember stories from my grandma how during war time soldiers just took over their house and they lost everything. ( military = government )

Enough stories of corrupt police marching into houses and stealing things and no evidence. ( Police = government )

Then there is also an example of the Reichsmark. Worthless after the war.

What happens if the US or any strong economy go into a major war or loads of terror attacks?

I did not study business / finances, but I KNOW nobody really understands all the sh*t that goes on. Huge market crash in 2008...and just recently "another" Dow adjustment. Everything just seems overall inflated and it just doesnt feel right.

I do not trust the current financial system and dont see it getting any better...quite the opposite actually.

I also can not foresee that cyrpto will survive, but I just dont see how this can fail. It just needs time to shine. The people decide the value, not the government. Interesting new concept.....time will tell how this spans out.

Precisely - bitcoin is gaining value at a tremendous rate in the last 8 years or you can look at it as fiat money is losing value every year and neither statement is wrong

There are a lot of opportunities opening up in a new asset class, if people can't see the wood for the trees then they will miss out but that's life....

This is seriously bad train of thought. Just asking for unwanted attention. The business is in thailand in a small city it's aimed at Thais.  Even the guys hook  with subsidy from government (900 baht) scheme is for thai people. The last thing this business needs is a farang presence/clientele. This type of thinking is overlooking 99.5% of the market.

I don't know if you will make as much money as you expect to

I walked into a dentist once in a busy bkk road and there was nobody in it except the dentist and his receptionist

He did a good job and filled in a cavity for 700thb

Now I go to a big modern hospital with all the  latest space age equipment of dentistry and they have free tea, coffee, cookies and stuff in a luxury  waiting area with white leather couches and nice coffee tables

I walk in anytime without appointment  and usually get seen by someone if they're not on lunch or book a specific dentist if you care which one you get

The bill is usually 1800-4400 for bi annual checkup and fixing anything that is wrong

I don't know if the thais in your target market will pay that much (or at least enough of them to cover the rent + salaries + equipment)

I don't even care about the price because insurance pays it anyway but if I was a poor  Thai, I might still go to the cheaper guy who I went to the first time because he was in an old style surgery but his work was 100%

They're pretty good.  Not the cheapest (suits in the 20-35k range) but you get 3 fittings and generally a helpful, professional attitude.  I doubt they'll make a suit without being able to measure you though, that's not a recipe for good work.

Tried some short-sleeved shirts at Pinkie recently and they were awful, awful.  Ridiculously tapered at the waist (like a women's dress) and sleeves way too wide.

Sounds like Small arms, big belly syndrome

Suggest some pushups, pull ups and sit-ups... Daily

It's an epidemic in thailand, probably contagious too

  8. Most small Soi clinic  will give you a shot if  you have your own medication

Try Dr thanapoom or thanaboon on pridi, off sukhumvit 71

The nurse will give you an Injection without bothering the doctor or wasting his time if that's all you want

She  charge 100 thb  for injection or sick note or medical cert for driving licences and you will be in and out in 45 seconds

What about the local police station ? I heard that they also had authority to issue a residence certificate on presentation of the blue book of the house ?

    It's hit and miss

Sometimes they're friendly and do one free of charge

Sometimes they can't be bothered and tell you to go see your embassy

A police letter will suffice tho

They did one for me at thonglor a few years ago

Immigration is actually a "police" department too.... And In. Bkk they do them at Chang wattana and chanchury Square but they want to post it to you which is a waste of time if you need it on the spot - cheaper tho

Not sure how we got from “how is the profit generated?” to “people like you…”.

It amazes me that a bitcoin proponent as devoted as you don’t have better ways to argue than ad hominems, especially when the original post was actually just asking questions, not making any statements.

    We understand you ?

You've been prattling on for months you don't get it.....

But some of us DO get it, and not going to waste thousands of words trying to explain the benefits of rocket science to a chimp....

When blockchain technology is ready for *you* to use, you  won't even know you're using it...

One year appears to be the period stipulated by the Bank of Thailand, though I am unable to cite a source for that. In recent years, some banks have introduced a minimum balance requirement (B 2000.00 seems to be a common figure), and a monthly maintenance fee (B 50 seems common) which kicks in if there has been no account-holder generated activity for a year. (Service charges and interest payments do not count as activity).

I don't know for what period of time the banks are required to hold the account-holder's funds. I once let an account lapse for over a year, but by walking into the bank, (home branch) I was able to get it re-activated.

They  deactivate  unused debit cards too so you should use it once or twice a year if you have any spare accounts that aren't your daily spending one....

What logic? I asked some concrete questions.

    Can you answer them?

What you could ask is “what are the answers to these questions for gold?”, but no-one (anymore) is saying that gold will keep going up (they said that ~10 years ago, but gold has been a zero-sum game for the last 8 years, and no-one seems to make the outrageous claims about gold as they did ~10 years ago).

You sound like you're  one step away from putting slippers in  the dishwasher and complaining that the dog took Your dentures.... Again

I have been buying into crypto asetts, services and companies since 2011 and I'm  and buying, building, studying and investing  more because I am interested in technical advances

People like you told Bill Gates that nobody would ever need a computer at home and now most of us have one in our pockets so I don't blame people who don't workor study in this indistry for not understanding this Industry because its literally that early on it will take years and years to mature into seamless services you use daily without thinking about....
