    Where was you visa issued?

It might never be a problem unless you need to do something at immigration.

It will take a couple of trips to the Department of Consular affairs on Chaeng Wattana road to have the visa category changed. They will have to contact the embassy or consulate it was issued at to confirm it was an error.

They did it at Vientiane but I had no problem coming back into bkk with it

Its just the wrong type of visa than i applied for.....

I spoke only in Thai from start to finish but probably the white skin is enough for the usual price adjustment.

“He Farang, he rich. Make price more.”

I went to the other dealer on the island, and the price I was quoted was 70k baht, and this was just for the standard model. Not including registration, was another 2k. I said that I want to do the registration myself and they said ‘mai dai’. So I said thanks and walked out.

Am going to bangkok next week so will pick one up there. Have seen a few second hand options with 2-3k km on the Odo going for around 50k baht. Will buy one like this and send it back via the post office for 2.5k. Baht. Will save at least 13k baht like this.

There is almost no incentive to buy from local places like this. I understand people want to make a profit but how stupid do they think we are.

i would ride it back ,save the 2.5 k for gas and have some fun on it .........these little bikes can cruise at 120 all day and no risk of the post office breaking it

Are the prices fixed all over the country? I went to my local Samui branch and they quoted 3k more than listed on the national website.

No some dealers rape more than others.... Pays to shop around or have a Thai ring around them all for  you....

Any middle class girl, not even hi so, is not looking for a guy over 35. I wonder why this is a surprise to people. Middle to upper class obviously have an education, which usually translates into a half decent career (or in the case of hi so, money coming out of their ears). They have countless rich Thai guys knocking at their door. They don't need to seek a farang unless it is for love, so yes, usually (not saying always) someone near their own age.

There are some amusing posts here... Have to give them credit lol

A hiso foreign educated girl will more than likely end up with a hiso rich young man her own age with the familys approval ... + Probably with a 6pack instead of a beer belly...

Almost no chance she will end up with a fat old farang twice her age because whether she works or not after uni she will never need to care about money...

You might get a cute young hooker, but it's not really the same thing... Is it?

Definitely only need or want one.   But it gets a bit depressing when you start being told that the overseas educated, English speaking hotties your Hi-so friends are introducing you to won't date anyone older than 35.

    But why should they?

Hi so Overseas educated , English speaking hotties can have any guy they want...

They don't care about the money because they probably have their own anyway

Any aftermarket hook they also need an extension to the hook it's about 25mm in length because where the hook goes on the aerox it's quite deep the hole.

There is one like this but looked a bit bigger,

I saw it on an aerox parked but don't know where to buy it yet

    Probably somewhere on Facebook...

    Hello all.

I started to looking for a bike for riding in the Bangkok. Now I come to the point to purchase Aerox. By doing lots of research and reading about the bike I understand what's what. By most who anoyes me the colour choice in Thai region is 4. You get really annoying Matt and gloss finishes. Like Indonesia have a 6 types and they are much better. OK I prefer black looking really good. (see pic)

My thing is how are you manage to get around if you want different colour than stock? Do you spray paint or vinyl. It's worth start messing up with this. Will be interesting to know are you can order like that below in picture to have dilivered to BKK.

    Thanks

I don't know why you want the Indonesia color in Thailand but the only way will be to buy a Thai one and change it yourself

Not overly expensive but not something I'd bother with on a 62k scooter. If you change the color you also have to change the greenbook at the land department etc

I would just pick the colour you hate the least and just ride it, life's too short to try and get the Indonesia colour outside Indonesia

Sorry for the bad quality picture, but that was the light that came on ( next to it on the right is the green A light )

Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Never seen any orange light on mine as of yet but I would ride it and see what happens...it's under warranty anyway and they're cheap as chips

If it breaks down, just call them again

Many people complain about the abs model on Thai forums, the stop start thing doesn't work sometimes I've  read and the keyless thing is more hassle than an actual key but I haven't ruled out the possibility that most of them are idiots and haven't read the instructions properly lol

Well, the thing was, it did turn off shortly after I left that place. I also took it for a drive this evening and no light came on.

I did a couple of heavy stops / breaks shortly before arriving home ( testing the breaks ) then went to straight back to the dealership and got brushed off. Left and the light turned off.

Would the ABS system overheating possibly trigger the overheating light to come on and turn off after the breaks cooled down?

Yamaha Brakes shouldn't overheat doing a couple of stops.... At least it's something I haven't seen in any bike before

Hard to believe they forgot to put the oil in tho

(a dry engine would seize well before you got home )

What light was it that came on?

Sounds a bit weird to be honest. First they say it's normal and then they come to your place because they got worried? Just to change their mind again and tell you all is fine? If this was normal behaviour then why would they come to you to pick it up? Why would Yamaha build something like that? I wonder if other owners can confirm this as happening to them as well. I mean I can understand a brand new bike being a bit hotter during run-in but to get to a temperature that is high enough to trigger the overheating light after 1km is a bit of a stretch unless that was 1km of stop and go traffic on a hot day.

Its not normal for sure, warning lights did not come on mine

No, theres a much larger one than that,

Its made of squared steel tubing by the look of it and painted gold

I saw one on an aerox parked a couple of days ago but didn't see anyone around to ask

    Something Like this :

Is there a reason why you can't undergo surgery?

AFAIK 100 mg just as available as 50. You need to find a large pharmacy with a real pharmacist on duty. Try near the provincial hospital.

They had 100mg ones in boots at phayoyothin once iirc, but they are the slow release type so they are expensive and unpopular compared to the Thai ones

I had to buy them after my local dealer out and I got bad withdrawal symptoms

Anyone who says tramadol is non addictive hasn't taken enough of it.... Yet

Are you saying that Aerox stock 14" F/R wheels-tyres will fit on the NMax? If so, that would make the NMax a 100% winner? And if so, why have anyone mentioned this before, I wonder???

I said I've seen thais selling them

Not said whether they will fit or not!

I would guess no because when you hit a bump the shock will depress and cause the Tyre to rub but you can try it out anyway

Smaller profile tyres on 14" might work too but that kinda defeats the purpose

So many clever answers to a simple question. When I was young before all these scams happened, you could easily meet a thai lady and end up in a hotel just within an hour or so. At that time(about 30 years ago) you needn't worry about scams. I was on a tuk tuk , well, I was young and handsome then(no longer handsome now) this young Thai girl keep smiling and I talk to her (in thai -i am good at language) and we went for coffee and then to hotel. I gave her 300 baht that day. She show me the travel agent office where she worked(sunday office closed) I dropped by her office the next week and we again end up in the hotel. Then I got tired of her so no more hotel rendezvous.

From the answers on this thread, it sounds like some people have never got sex without paying for it....

    Pretty depressing stuff, Gentlemen...
