Where the Thai people go is not always a hotel as far as I know . They have been using army bases and quarantining your average Thai there as the government are paying for it . More submarine cash then ????

Exercise is good for the mind and body - when people are ‘room bound’ in ASQ it makes perfect sense for people to be allowed to sue the gym and open spaces. 

 

I’ve done two weeks ASQ - it was a long time and I while I didn’t really feel a great need to leave the room, I can see how others might. 

 

 

 

Doesn’t need to be about watching tv . Some people can just sit in silence for hours contemplating and relaxing and are extremely fit and slim . Some might find it boring or driving them mad but a lot of people would be happy with utter peace and quiet . ????????????

She left ages ago ! Obviously not cleaning enough and quite frankly if you can’t hack staying in your room for two weeks after paying money for the privilege then you shouldn’t be coming . No need to leave the room to go exercise or walk around . It’s two weeks , not two years ! God help these people if they ever end up in prison .

So they tested every person for the next 24hrs or so of flights who set foot on the aircraft she used  ?? ????

Would love to know the amount of people killed in a year from electric shocks in the country . The amount of people I know who think because they can wire a plug they can do anything electrical is shocking ! 
Anything involving water and electric in my house is wired by a uk qualified electrician , wouldn’t trust a Thai to do it .

So someone in a seasonal job from some other area has to go through the hassle of getting a new I.d card to keep this guy happy ? Just so he can falsely claim the numbers of permanent residents has risen on the island to con the government out of money to be used for so called upgrades and projects ????

Sounds similar to road project in samui, seems to be ongoing for last 8 years and at times machines I assume on hire sit doing nothing for two months , while for some unexplained reason they go and start another section kilometres away before completing the area they are doing . People are getting rich for sure from these projects .

Suunto spartan trainer hr is pretty good watch for about £220 . Has tracking , route planning , heart rate , workout programmes , connects to pc and phone to show details of workout , something like 50 sports modes for all types of activities. Shows up messages and calls also on screen but can’t be used to talk . Think I got mine from lazada and not had any problems with it over last two years .

Did she fly from Bkk to samui ? If so have they tested everyone on that flight and everyone that boarded the plane she was on after ? Surely if it can stay on gym equipment it would be able to stay on plastics in a plane etc ? 

I’m sure a 1000 people would rather he rolled up with a box of doughnuts ! 
The doughnuts would probably be more use !

Yeah she has dual nationality from what I gather and I’m sure the free ASQ for Thais is at a camp and not in a hotel . I remember seeing a photo last week and it looked like a military base they were in possibly. Why waste more money on citizens when it can be used to get a good stereo for the submarines ????????????

Is the COVID insurance with a Thai company or uk ? If I return and have to take out covid insurance with a Thai company as well as insurance I have then it will cost me around 20-40,000bht more as I will be living there all year .

I can think of a island with a few people who might be looking to move to a neighbouring country if this is starting ????

She went to the basic free state quarantine from what I gather , her husband went to a hotel as he is not Thai .

So when I get back home to Thailand after the costly quarantine finishes , which I’m not doing or paying for so will wait . Then I need to takeout a Covid insurance with a Thai company for every year I continue to stay there with my Thai wife , on top off my European insurance which already has world wide cover and Covid cover ??

I knew a Brit that owned a restaurant. He couldn't even make his own breakfast in the kitchen as that would have been working.

Yep I owned a restaurant before in samui and despite having a work permit you basically can’t do a thing really . One of my mates has ran restaurants for 15 years and he is basically meant to just supervise , he shouldn’t even be handing the customers coffee etc even though he didn’t make it  !
