  1. And you have to wonder on the days they will be dragging these people around to places will they have told all the businesses in that areas to make sure they are open or face a fine and will they be drafting in loads of workers from the TAT to sit in these places and wander about pretending they are happy tourists ! ????

Would not surprise me one bit if this is the case . Just wait and see , the press photos of it will show bustling places everywhere they go ????

  2. Can’t find something you don’t test for !
Wife’s father has been in and out of three hospitals in last two weeks and every one was packed . He had high temperature etc and I asked if when he arrived was he tested for Covid or asked about it . She said he wasn’t and she didn’t see or hear of one person in the hospital getting tested or even mention it .
Odd in the photo the WHO guy is sitting with his mask on and the other genius isn’t ! ????

  3. Don’t do it ! Have an escape plan. I done the sold up thing and moved to Thailand and it drives me insane after 10 years with all their stupid rules for visa renewals , company papers , getting people to do things correct the first time . I have spent tens of millions in the country buying property etc but now am in the uk and required again to jump through a million hoops to return and need pay for two weeks quarantine despite having a home !
While I like the food , the country , the people I cannot stand the clowns that run the place and make up the rules ! Each new one is as useless as the previous and I never actually see them doing anything of great change or benefit to the people , only benefit those with money in the upper classes .

Thai Airways still owe me a refund of my return flight to the UK which they cancelled in June.

I don't believe they can or should be flying anywhere until they clear their debts.

But my guess is that they may be doing so in order to bring stranded Thais home.

They are something like 260 billion bht in debt so might take some time to clear ! ????

  5. Are the embassy in London issuing visas at the moment and if they are I guess they are only of use to people applying for entry with ASQ ? I was looking yesterday at a non o single entry to then apply for year visa based on marriage to a Thai when I am in the country . But I think it said the visa was only good to use for three months to enter Thailand from issue date so wasn’t any point in me applying at this time as I won’t do ASQ .

B.A. are also listing direct flights from Heathrow from the 1st of November, up until now they don’t have permission to fly to BKK. They have been listing flights from September but they all have been cancelled. Thai Air normally have 3 Repatriation flights a month, I wouldn’t be looking at booking at flight with them though until they announce flights for November.

B.a are basically covering their behinds incase they suddenly get permission I’m guessing. They were doing the same from April/May out off Bkk to London but kept cancelling a week before the flight . Meanwhile taking people’s money and offering them later flights or vouchers so they have money in the bank which is in short supply at the moment due to lack of business.

Anyone heard of Marlow on the Thames river in UK ?. Fifteen million pounds will buy you a nice riverside property, it also floods...

Yeah I stayed at a hotel right beside the river a few years ago and looking out from the bar at the land towards the river I thought this would be a great place for a house . Then noticed the land was only about 2ft above the river level and it wasn’t even raining at that time .

if you are married to a Thai you could of gotten a certificate of entry based upon that and applying for single entry non-o visa.

You would of still of had to go into quarantine and etc though.

Yeah as appealing as quarantine sounded I resisted the urge to apply to be locked in a room for two weeks ????????????

I assume you actually have a extension of stay not a valid multiple entry non-b visa.

Technically you could use your re-entry permit to enter the country if your extension has not been canceled. But you would only be allowed entry to the country to December 19th.

You could of entered the country with a certificate of entry before now if your still have you job.

I personally don't think you will be able to enter on or before December 19th.

Yeah I think it’s an extension as I changed from having a visa based on being married to a Thai to having a visa with work permit as I didn’t have the 400k in bank , so decided work permit seemed easiest option as it was for my wife’s company and I was doing all the bookings via email etc.
Guess will carry on playing the waiting game to return as I’m not paying for quarantine, tests , Covid insurance etc ????
