Had a couple return from Samut Sakhon to a village neighbouring my wifes family village.
Word quickly spread and 2 days ago a hazmat suited team from the local hospital went through the villages in the area testing and educating people of risks etc.

I would think that the mutations can occur quite quickly rather than over years. Which direction, weaker or stronger is down to the virus.
Just watching a live broadcast of the British Commons science and technology committee emergency session on covid 19 and they've mentioned 70 covid19 variants identified so far and the next worrying variant after this current British version is one emerging in South Africa.

So you can apply through this website instead of the embassy in your country or area? Is there an additional fee?
In some countries that' website is the only way you can apply for a CoE. There's no additional fee. There's a drop down menu where you select the country you are applying from.
I was emailing my local Thai embassy as part of the process but rules changed and anyone wishing to enter from my country after 04 January had to apply through that website. My registration request was approved 4 hours later with a contact email address of the same embassy person I had originally dealt with.

I've been told the reason people aren't having problems renewing their registration if the fines weren't paid is the ticket issuing dept and the vehicle registration dept aren't linked.
I cant confirm but it sounds plausible.

I'm starting to believe foreigners are catching covid on the flights as they're required to have a test prior to flying.
To quote a friend who flew Emirates from Dammam to catch a connecting flight from Dubai on Wednesday.
"The flight from Dammam was bad...no social distancing etc...full flight..TCN's. Queuing was bad.. stewards not in control.. people not wearing masks.. even after being told."

I'm still waiting for entry into Thailand. The province is in the northeast and my latest enquiries indicate this additional 14 day home quarantine is still applicable for my province.

A few years back there was a bad batch of plates that lost their paint easily.
I've seen a small shop near the S&M minimart on Sisaket Rd in Ubon that made copy "illegal" licence plates. Don't know if hes still in operation.

I've been to funeral wakes where the insurance agent has made a big deal of handing over a large cardboard cheque to the family the same day the person died.

If you head as far as you can in the emerald triangle you reach an army camp with plenty of old deactivated mines, bombs and grenades on display outside the camp. The soldiers there were happy to chat and explained the roads were blocked to further travel due to landmines etc.
That whole area along the Khmer border is still littered with unexploded ordinance. It was only a few months ago people were injured by a landmine in the jungle there. Years ago I would regularly hear of people being injured by landmines while searching the jungle for food or wood.

I first saw that sign at Sadao border crossing from Malaysia back in 1984. Also down in Singapore at that time they required anyone entering to have short hair.

- It must be issued by authorized medical institutions, in English, stating the name of the person, and in hard copy like all other documents

- It can be issued at any clinic by licensed medical doctor after a physical examination stating that the passenger is fit to fly

There is a youtube channel by a guy calling himself LockPickingLawyer.
He has a number of videos showing how to open hotel/home type safes. I didn't see your safe but his methods of opening others similar to yours may work.

My wife works for a different govt ministry.
On their frequent inspection visits she is provided with a dept car and driver.
If using her private car for official visits she is paid a travel allowance.
I cant see immigration being any different.

And you really think they abide by it ? ????
I've been informed by a member of the provincial health department a car will meet me at my local airport, test and deliver me to my accommodation followed by daily visits by medical staff to check my temperature. I know of 2 people currently undergoing home quarantine in my province.

Received from thailandelite 3 days ago along with an offer to delay visa activation to 30 December 2020.
QuoteAs Thailand Elite visa holders are not firmly guaranteed to enter Thailand at this moment because the entry into the Kingdom of non-Thai nationals permission will be under the consideration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and after you have affixed Elite Visa, you are required to join the Thailand Elite Member Quarantine program (TEM-Q program) for the endorsement from the Ministry of Foreigners Affairs and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), prior to receiving the Certificate of Entry (COE) at the Royal Thai Embassy in your country, to visit Thailand which the whole process might take time.
