  1. Kai Loua

in tourist-trap Jomtien is appalling. Better British breakfasts can be found in Bangkok or Chiang Mai.

    Bit of a silly comment.

I suppose given your name any meal would be great after a few changs.

It's obvious you have forgotten just how good western grub is in western countries.

Only fools judge a book by its cover.

Have a nice breakfast in Bangkok or chiang- Mai. coffee1.gif

  2. Just to add to it.

Its about time only applicants were let into immigration or people who need to be there to assist the applicant.

Way to many, wives , boyfriends, girlfriends or what ever in the place.

Some times , some of the real old Guys / Girls are just left standing there for hours With no place to sit, but some lazy ass local shining her, his ass on a chair playing Line, face book or some other thing not to do with where they are.

Total selfish behavior of some people.

  3. No not me Lenny, wrong again.

Yes stupid rules as there is no crash helmet standard in Thailand that is enforced

Most helmets are just thin plastic totally useless. They are Just for show to the cops.

And to act as a sun shade. So yes stupid.

But again no crash helmet will help you when your smashed into at 150k when they run the red lights. Or a head on when people travel the wrong way up a carriageway.

And guess what, its not the tourists doing it on mass it’s the Thais and the police do nothing.

Stopping people to check licence , Tax, what ever a is just a money game played for many years in pattaya

    Amazing Thailand.

  4. Would be nice if the cops stopped the BS

And nicked the knobs who drive the wrong way up a carriageway

and the aholes who crash the red lights. This kills many every year

that would be doing real police work.

Checking your license and stupid crash helmet rules are just that stupid.

I do feel they are targeting none Thais, just look at who is driving past with no crash helmet on, talking on a mobile phone and three up on the bike!!!! as you being questioned.

  5. Don’t understand your idea of a quiet location at the start or being screwed

Its on a 6 lane highway, with cars doing 140 plus all day long down it.

    Accidents every other day.

Are we talking about the same location ?

Or do you have a hearing problem ?

    Very funny

I tried the meat loaf breakfast at Back Fabric.

Fried egg over a thick slice of German meatloaf, served with a generous portion of home fries cooked with onion, bacon in real butter.

Nice blended strong coffee from the espresso machine. 210Bt.

That is a superb value considering it's prepared by a European chef with the quality ingredients.

That would cost about 400Bt in Europe I suppose.

Now the 60Bt breakfast prepared by a nose picking Thai teenager with the cheapest ingredients? Value isn't the word I'm thinking.

Only thai teenagers pick there nose ?

  7. Hi

Got a quick question on re-entry permit use.

    I’m on a 12 months extension of stay ( retirement visa )

Its stamped for the 1 December 2015.

I will be leaving Thailand in a few days and returning on the 7 Jan 2015

What should be stamped in my passport when I come back in ?

A new 90 day report time , or stamped again till the 1 December 2015 ?

And what is stamped on the tm6 on return.?

I just want to be sure its right when I come back

    Thanks.

Give them only the correct fare.

Or better still give them nothing

Walk, cycle or buy / rent a motor bike / car.

I stopped using them over ten years ago, total A-holes.bah.gif

  9. Hi

Need to buy a Pin (thai 3 or 4 string guitar)

Any one got a very good one they wish to sell or is three anyone who knows

Where I can get one around pattaya or bangkok.

I need an electric one, that’s a professional instrument

With an adjustable bridge, proper fret board and truss rod

Can be solid or acoustic body

I would need to see and play it before purchase

    Anyone ?

  10. Last weekend I had a Thai client and two of his friends come to Pattaya and I met them on Walking Street. Later in the evening, as the client was paying, I decided to take them into the Galaxy Show bar place safe in the knowledge that if we were ripped of, he was paying. However, we sat there, had a few drinks, and were never once approached by the girls and were able to sit and watch the in general very good pole dancing. The drink prices are a bit steep I think. However, I observed what the girls were doing which was walking up to people who were intently paying attention to their dance, straddling them, and asking for a tip or private dance, on the whole men of south asia descent. Now it was a tad daft of the girls because the Thai guys were mid 20's early 30's HiSo guys with daddies money oozing out of them, and they were highly interested in private dances.

So I would say if you can go with a Thai chap as I get the feeling they ignore you then and you can watch the show. Failing that, just go and watch the show but maybe camp it up a bit to make it obvious you will not be getting any private dances.

Now I will point out the bleeding obvious as well - these girls are dancing to make money, and tips are appreciated and make up part of their earnings. The sign on each table suggests 50 baht tips lol. But it is a small place inside and if you take up chair that could be filled with a tipping private dance taking customer, you can guess why you will be pushed out fairly quickly.

Other option is the night clubs where they have CIS dancers - Mixxxxxx is it? I don't know but won't take long to find out.

    Have fun

    Did they go topless?

When I was there. Boooring expensive...

About 50:50 - what happened a lot though was that their panties which all seemed to be clipped on at the side came unclipped and exposed the full works.

The thing is, as my Thai clients said when they came out, its not the same as a gogo. gogos are basically boring boring boring with farm girls jiggering with their baps out nervously, and I struggle to find how anyone could find that arousing or interesting unless that is the first time they have seen a naked lady. The CIS girls were proper pole dancers, and very good artists at this. It's a different experience and will suit different people. Of the 5 dancers I saw, 2 were on a par with top notch London pole dancers. I didn't have a lap dance there (3000 baht, no chance).

If you get your rocks off looking at issan mattress warriors moving ever so slightly on in a gogo then this is not for you. I actually prefer pole dancing and the fact that a couple of them were stunning fit girls was a complete bonus.

And you find pole dancing exciting in the uk

  11. Just remember that 'light' on a beer in Thailand refers to its colour rather than alcohol or calorific content. If you are trying to be good and limit either those two factors you may need to read a few labels first.

    No it does not!! example...

Small Leo 350 calories 12g carbs

Small San mig light 100 calories 3g carbs.

    Think your find

    small san mig 105 cal

    small Leo 155 cal

  12. Thank you guys for all your answers

    Got one more question.

When I obtain the O visa (tourist visa change too O visa change too, One year extension of stay visa if I need to leave Thailand in a hurry midway through the complete application process (assuming I cant do the hole visa process in one or tw days) , can I obtain a reentry permit for that O visa or do I have to remain in Thailand for the three months validity of the O visa ?

    Thank you
