At last i have now first hand information. I asked the security supervisor at the domestic security station on my flight from Bangkok to Phuket. As long the STEBS bag is sealed and the receipt clearly visible with the date it can be taken in your hand luggage. No problem. FYI, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi domestic security handles both landside and airside passengers at the same time without separation.

That would be a bad advice as it is illegal to use false paperwork for your application. (in case the agent is doing the extension without the financial requirements) You use 2 times 6 months statements for the visa extension application so you don't have to wait for the 12 months statement. as long the 6 months statements are overlapping. That is only for the bank book, The Bank Certificate and Bank Statement can be 7 days old but the Bank Book has to ne updated on the day of the application with a new transaction date in the book. 3 times (on Phuket) so far which are made public and several others which didn't made the news, and i don't think that a 12 month oversea holiday is something to look forward to for most people.

Sorry but then you are robbed as there is no fee (except fr the ATM card) to open a bank account. Bangkok Bank is one of the few banks which allows foreigners without long term visa's to open a bank account relatively easy. (specially in Patong) Sometimes they will try to sell a insurance (which should be only about 3000 Baht) but that is not required and they only do with the commission. I opened several accounts at Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn (different branches) and never had anything extra for this.

I have the same impression, Since and during the covid period they (Immigration and others) are way friendlier. (it's the same for Phuket airport)

I understand what you are saying but in that case many people would be caught out as a lot of transferring people will have duty free in their carry on without a option to rectify it. ( i would expect that they checked the bag and receipt for the date so they can see that the person has just arrived into the country).

I'm very familiar with the rules but the duty free where always allowed when the security was still at the old location straight after the transfer immigration counters. Only after they centralised the security at A and B concourse where they doing difficult.

As i don't have hold luggage i would like to bring it in my carry-on as they are sealed in the duty free bags. Yes i know this and the bottles will be in the appropriate sealed duty free bags with the recept visible as required. Hopefully somebody here has first hand experience ????
