Can this be used as a alternative for smoking and how long does it take before you feel the effect ? I don't really like edibles as it can take hours before feeling any effect and when others do smoke this is a issue.

At last i have now first hand information. I asked the security supervisor at the domestic security station on my flight from Bangkok to Phuket. As long the STEBS bag is sealed and the receipt clearly visible with the date it can be taken in your hand luggage. No problem. FYI, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi domestic security handles both landside and airside passengers at the same time without separation.

(in case the agent is doing the extension without the financial requirements) You use 2 times 6 months statements for the visa extension application so you don't have to wait for the 12 months statement. as long the 6 months statements are overlapping. That is only for the bank book, The Bank Certificate and Bank Statement can be 7 days old but the Bank Book has to ne updated on the day of the application with a new transaction date in the book. 3 times (on Phuket) so far which are made public and several others which didn't made the news, and i don't think that a 12 month oversea holiday is something to look forward to for most people.

Sorry but then you are robbed as there is no fee (except fr the ATM card) to open a bank account. Bangkok Bank is one of the few banks which allows foreigners without long term visa's to open a bank account relatively easy. (specially in Patong) Sometimes they will try to sell a insurance (which should be only about 3000 Baht) but that is not required and they only do with the commission. I opened several accounts at Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn (different branches) and never had anything extra for this.

I have the same impression, Since and during the covid period they (Immigration and others) are way friendlier. (it's the same for Phuket airport)

Hi all, I have a question about my duty-free alcohol. I will be flying from Amsterdam to Bangkok and then to Phuket. As my BKK-HKT flight is on a separate ticket I must clear immigration in Bangkok and continue as a domestic passenger to Phuket. (only hand luggage) My duty free (+/- 2 bottles) with be in the sealed duty-free bags with the receipt visible etc. Does anybody know if I can take the duty free in my hand luggage on the domestic flight from BKK to HKT ?
