Hi all, I have a question about my duty-free alcohol. I will be flying from Amsterdam to Bangkok and then to Phuket. As my BKK-HKT flight is on a separate ticket I must clear immigration in Bangkok and continue as a domestic passenger to Phuket. (only hand luggage) My duty free (+/- 2 bottles) with be in the sealed duty-free bags with the receipt visible etc. Does anybody know if I can take the duty free in my hand luggage on the domestic flight from BKK to HKT ?

It should be possible again as i see the fast track girls/boys working at the airport the last few time i arrived.

even on a different itinerary he shouldn't have a big issue. He can still use the transfer immigration at the A/B/C concourse area or not ?

Good luck getting a official taxi from the airport to Patong for 500 baht. The published and only excepted rate is 800 Baht to Patong from the airport.

If i read it correctly they will also only issue a 30 extension instead of the 60 day. ( please correct me if i'm wrong)

Phuket immigration does not require proof that the 800 K is from abroad.

It also depends in which area you are living. In some areas 3BB is very good and in other areas other providers are good. I life in Kathu and have 3BB fiber for many years and are very happy about it. If there is a issue it is quickly resolved and the help desk speaks good English.

Yes everyone heard about those stories but besides getting it solved with some brown envelopes i have also experience with people who where arrested and deported for this without even having a opportunity to use a envelope. One friend was deported only because he handed over change to a costumer in his restaurant as the Thai waitress was busy with something else. Unfortunately some police officers noticed this.

For Thailand you only need a onward ticket when arriving on visa exempt or Visa on Arrival (TR15). All others including tourist visas (TR60) don't need a onward ticket. As airlines are financial responsibly when somebody is denied entry due to this it is understandable that the airlines will check for this.

Yes it is/was original a gogo bar but very relaxed with only girls dancing if they had costumers. But its the place with very good music and not being pestered for drinks and just having a good time.

Woiuld be a shame if Safari would be gone, (i presume it is not open anymore ?) it was for me the only good gogo bar in Patpong where you could go without being pestered and just having a good time with good music.
