  1. Norway's Johannes Hosflot Klaebo has won an eighth gold medal in cross-country skiing at the Milan Cortina Olympics, tying an all‑time Winter Games record. The 29‑year‑old claimed victory Friday in the men's 10 kilometer interval‑start race, for his third gold at the 2026 games. He ties the record shared by three other Norwegian athletes, all retired: Marit Bjoergen and Bjoern Daehlie in cross-country skiing and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen in the biathlon. https://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/47918219/norwegian-skier-klaebo-ties-all-winter-olympics-gold-record
  2. I was not expecting Everton to be above Liverpool on the table with 15 games gone. It is so tight from Number 4 to Number 12 and this is what makes Premier League really interesting.
  3. I think it will be a 2-2 draw between Man City and Liverpool.
  4. Going every day is not always best, especially at 68. Try doing aerobic exercise 3 or 4 times a week and use the other days for rest or light walking. That helps recovery and keeps progress steady. A good diet and a bit of strength work also make a big difference.
  5. Alex Albon is having a great season, getting close to his career-best 105 points from 2020 with Red Bull Racing. It’s easily his strongest year with Williams. One constant through his journey has been his Performance Coach, Patrick Harding, who’s worked with him for seven years. Here’s a really good interview with Patrick where he talks about his work with Albon and what it takes to perform at the top level. This should be a great watch for Albon fans interested in how he maintains his fitness and the dedication it takes to stay at the top of his game:
  6. Max Verstappen wins the United States Grand Prix to round off a perfect race weekend for him. This man is so special!
  7. You underestimated who first produced a dream lap in the qualifying and then had a perfect race to take the win.
  8. Max should be super confident going into the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend after his back-to-back race wins in F1 plus a victory on his GT3 debut at the Nordschleife in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, so momentum is definitely on his side. Last year I went to the Singapore GP and it was a wonderful experience for me as there was a lot to enjoy and explore in and around the circuit for the fans. If anyone is planning to go and wants tips on what to see or where to eat, this off-track guide is a really useful read.
  9. That was too easy for Max. He didn't have any challenge from start to finish.
  10. RIP. He was one of the greatest ever! I hope his family is doing alright.
  11. Max Verstappen wins the Italian Grand Prix to take his second race win of the season. He is still third in the WDC behind the two McLaren drivers but the gap is now reduced to 63 points to the second positioned Lando Norris.
  12. This is how the WDC and WCC standings look like as everyone takes a breather with the summer break.
  13. Not a surprise to know that this track has been a permanent part of the F1 calendar since 1987.
  14. It looks very likely that McLaren will win both championships. The only real question which of their driver will win the WDC.
  15. The LA 2028 Olympics are shaping up to be one of the largest Olympic Games in history.
